would it be possible to unlock only the weapon level of one weapon in particular, like the nail bat? i'm trying to figure out if the KH save editor can accomplish this but no dice so far
It is possible to modify a single weapon by editing this same game file (WeaponUpgradeTreeLevel.uasset), but it is not possible with the KH save editor.
Will this work for a save file? I think an infinite SP Trainer messed up my weapons. Some of them don't have all 6 sphere zones even after collecting all the manuscripts and reaching level 50.
If it worked for you, you still have to know this: How to Get Weapon Level 6 To unlock Weapon Level 6 for each of a character's weapons, you'll need that character's SP to hit 250. Each character can reach up to 216 SP by leveling up; after that, they'll need Manuscripts to gain more SP.
Only 3 Manuscripts per character are available on Classic, Easy, or Norrmal Mode – to unlock the other 11 Manuscripts for each character, you'll need to challenge Hard Mode, which is unlocked after finishing the main story once.
As 3 Manuscripts will yield a maximum of 246 SP, you must play Hard Mode at least to some extent to unlock Weapon Level 6.
I did do Hard and got all the Manuscripts. Play Log says so. As I said, I'm pretty sure the Infinite SP in a Trainer I was using broke the code that allows the weapons to unlock another circle of nodes. All the weapons are level 6, but most of them only have 4/6 of the ability node circles actually unlocked. That's why I was wondering if this mod would just unlock those or if using it would break the game. I guess I can make a copy of the save file and then inject this mod to see what happens though.
