The grapplehook is on the character models regardless of whether or not they are actively shooting it. Some people don't want to look at it, and it can clip through other modded outfits.
I can confirm that this mod was causing Tifa's gloves to disappear and that I didn't have the mod that removes her weapons installed. The new mod that prevents crashing does not have the same issue of making Tifa's gloves disappear.
Mod works well except for when you reach Chapter 15. Every time you need to use the grappling hook the game will crash with a Fatal Error message. Removing this mod is the workaround.
