About this mod
A difficulty mod that buffs enemies and bosses considerably according to the rank chosen.
- Permissions and credits
This mod is a supplementary mod, meaning it can be used on its own, but the difficulty will be incredibly high. It's highly recommended you combine it with other gameplay enhancement mods to even the playing field if having difficulties. This mod was primarily designed to go alongside my other mod, which comes with various enhancements to the game, Gameplay Tweaks! (Click if you want to know more!)
Enemies and Bosses will have their strength increased according to the rank you pick.
SOLDIER Trainee - Enemies and bosses will have 2x Health, regular stats and normal stagger rates
3rd Class - Enemies and bosses will have 2x Health, 1.5x stats, and take 1.3x longer to stagger
2nd Class - Enemies and bosses will have 3x Health, 1.7x stats, and take 1.4x longer to stagger
1st Class - Enemies and bosses will have 5x Health, 2x stats, and take 1.5x longer to stagger
Deepground - Enemies and bosses will have 10x Health, 3x stats, and take 2x longer to stagger
There are now also optional files for the ranks with normal/default stagger rates (barring Trainee, of course).
If you want to see me beat up some rats with the Deepground Rank, go check the videos section! It should give you a decent flagpole as to what to expect. I highly, highly recommend selecting only Trainee, 3rd or 2nd class, especially on your first playthrough unless you really know the mechanics of this game (and have mods to help you!)
1st Class and Deepground are designed for runs like Hard Mode after beating the game, or level 99 playthroughs, or, if you're like me, just enjoy extremely difficult runs. I will potentially be making different versions of these difficulty mods, but right now, these are ones that I've beaten the game with.
Compatibility with other Mod(s):
This mod should generally work with any other mods around, except ones that modify enemy stats directly, as they likely edit the same file as this one. Mods that increase enemy levels, like the ones in my Gameplay Tweaks or otherwise, work fine!
Installation:
Choose which mod you want to install. Please check the Files section for more information/references to which rank to pick.
Once selected, drag the .pak file into your ..Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade\End\Content\Paks\~mods folder. If you do not have a ~mods folder, you can just make one.
You can only use one of the mods at a time, so please decide which rank you want first.
