Great contribution as the music of the original game, but I think that this time they put the Shinra song to imply that it is Heidegger from Shinra and not Avalache who is creating all that destruction, something that was not shown in the original game .
I have to agree, the two tracks convey a very different tone. The original version portrays a sense of, "Did we screw up? Was this us?", while the new Shinra version answers, "No, Shinra did this, this is what they are willing to do."
I agree as well. I just started getting into modding FF7R and found this thanks to some of the collections people have made. I agree on the sentiment that they put in the Shinra one in there to have us believe that "Shinra did this", but also when remakes music starts is when we hear a broadcast over a speaker. Its Shinra that's speaking at the time, and that section is more about them and the rescue of survivors - which Shinra is taking care of.
THAT SAID, the player plays the role of Avalanche, and the feeling of "Did we actually do all of this?" should be what we're experiencing. The original games theme here is better suited for that. In my opinion, this mod is better suited over the original soundtrack, as it pertains to our group of misfits that are the main focus here. Now, if there was a combination of the Shinra theme AND Anxious Heart, that would(imo) probably be the best of both worlds.
Hey! Please consider also adding the option to use the superior version of the same track (Anxiety - False Memories), looped perfectly by FantasyRaiderr as seen here https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/781/?tab=videos&jump_to_comment=107505533.
This will take this game another step closer to being the perfect version of Remake!
I also have a separate request that I'll add in another comment.

Please can you release a version where this music continues playing AFTER the firey alleyway encounter with Sephiroth? (instead of Promised Land)
Can you also have it continue playing after meeting AERITH?
This calmer music outside of battle will change how this area and stage of the game feels COMPLETELY (for the better).
(a.k.a, right up until Cloud jumps on the train, like in the original).
