but .. does SPEED actually do something? installed your mod as ONLY mod in my folder .. i can see +100 speed in the character sheet .. but it does absolutely nothing in combat.. ATB charge speed does not change at all (when attacking: same .. when passive: same) your mod does exactly what it says but .. is the speed stat bugged? (or maybe my game?) .. are the +speed upgrades for tifa also useless?
Hello, the mod works well but it is true that there is not much difference in the load bar is more noticeable in the velocity of multiples by hits and etc .... If you want real speed I recommend my other mod ATB x2 and Never Stop.
So. I have found that I do need for a few mods to put them straight in the Paks folder and not in the Mods folder for some reason. I think it's because the folder could be 1 level too deep for some mods to activate.
Why would you [in the mods' description] talk about the stat changes this mod brings all the way up to LVL 99 when the mod itself doesnt unlock those parameters?
Downloaded and checked everything is correct, check that you do not have any .PAK of MOD in the folders that may conflict: ??\Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade\End\Content\Paks\ ??\Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade\End\Content\Paks\~mods\ Check that the folder name ~mods is spelled like here. and if this doesn't work for you put a Z at the beginning of the mod name.
Did finally get this working, not sure what all i had that could have been conflicting... only other character stat modifier i had was from.... https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/476
but as of current, i have both of them active with no conflicts.
The Twin Stinger is found in a chest along the main story path during "Find the Others" in Chapter 17, "Deliverance from Chaos". It is on the Level 3 of the Drum. Twin Stinger
It might not be working for me somehow. It still says 55 for Cloud's speed at Level 50, not 155. And I placed the pak file in the ~mods folder as well.
I thought one has to get some battles in for it to take effect, but even in battles there does not seem to be a change in how fast the characters' ATB meters fill up.
I noticed some of the other mods in my ~mods folder have the lower case letter z at the very beginning of their file name. So I tried adding a z to your mod, and it worked! All characters are displaying 100 more in their speed stat.
That's strange though that I had to do that, whereas other users never had to add the lower case z. I wonder if anyone else had similar issues.
The maximum speed value is 255, since Tifa and Yuffie's original maximum speed is 123 at lvl 99, I decided not to increase more than 100 to preserve the personality of the characters.

again THIS is the only mod in my ~mods folder
could anyone else please test this?
nevertheless thanks a lot

I've even tried making it the only mod in the folder, and still doesn't work.
Example:
Cloud lvl1 speed 106
Cloud lvl50 speed 155
Cloud lvl66 speed 204

Speed is a characters’ value that determines how fast their ATB gauge charges passively.
