Running FFVII Remake Intergrade on Low End PC CPU/GPU (Intel HD 620m + I5 7200u and up) without or with 21/9 (3440x1440) support

Linux have better performances than Windows on FFVII Remake Intergrade, (thanks DXVK, VULKAN, and Linux Kernel)

[Tested on Manjaro Linux]

It will install a mod with minimal settings and FFVIIHOOK wich can optimise everything for better rendering without so much loss quality.
Then, Flawless Widescreen should be launched before any game session for enjoying proper downscale and optionnaly 21/9 fixes.


-How to install :

1 : Put files of win64 folder inside End/Binaries/Win64 folder of the game

2 : Put the file *.pak of ~mods folder inside End/Content/Paks/~mods folder of the game

3 : Put files inside EOS folder inside Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/EOS

4 : Choose your language in epic_emu.ini inside Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/EOS (fr for french, en for english...)

-How to Run Flawless widescreen and FFVII Remake with FFVIIHOOK :


1 : Install latest version of Wine-tkg, DXVK, and Zen Linux Kernel (better build is from Wine-tkg, and ZEN Linux Kernel, how to do depend of your distrib) and latest stable version of Mesa.
On Manjaro/ArchLinux, this repository have all requirements : https://aur.chaotic.cx

2 : ADD both variables inside /etc/environment

WINEFSYNC=1
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60

3 : Reboot


-How to Launch Flawless Widescreen and FFVII Remake with theses command :


cd "/PATH-OF-YOUR-GAME/Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade/End/Binaries/Win64"

wine Flawless\ Widescreen/FlawlessWidescreen.exe & WINEDLLOVERRIDES=xinput_1_3.dll=n wine ff7remake_.exe


5 : In graphics settings, choose the best resolution for your screen (3440x1440 resolution if you are in 21/9), low textures and low shadow and 0 poeple.


INFO :

If you have somes FPS drop on somes chapters (especially Wall Market) just disable FFVIIHOOK with xinput_1_3.dll=n , render will be horrible, but you will have 30 FPS. You can play with flawless widescreen for optimizing it. ;-)

/!\ NEVER install "VC_redist.x64.exe" from "Prereq" game folder or you gonna have many Engine errors at startup and deleting ~/.wine folder for resetting simulated windows environment.

Keybord, and gamepad Dualshock 4 works fine.
Fun fact : you could even Run the PC Game on Manjaro Linux on a hacked PS4. :-)
