I'm looking forward to trying it after I explore the game a little further.
This mod gets me excited about the inevitable future of FF7R mods... Plus sequels, and the sequels mods :)!
Eventually, I'm sure a group will form to create new experiences for the game, and I'm sure they'll want to include RedXIII as a playable character for FF7Rem expansion mods. Have you considered collaborating with others, or have any discussions about something like that started that you know of?
I tried to revert back making sonon uncontrollable by deleting the .pak file. but still you can control him after deleting the mod. Moreover when yuffie dies and sonon tries to revive her , she isn't and you still in control of sonon . From this point multiple random scenarios might happen as follows:
1- Sonon with current HP ( or sometimes 1 HP) and the fight continue normally (if you defeat the enemy without reviving yuffie the game won't exit from battle mode and you are stuck). 2- Same as above except the enemy won't attack you 3- Sonon with 0 HP and you are stuck.
May we get an update for this mod?
Edit : The issue above was resolved after PC restart and cache and Temps file cleaning
Glad to hear that there is an easy solution by restarting the pc, etc. I've been waiting to try this until after my 1st PC playthrough, and maybe even after Intermission / hard modes.
Even after 4 playthroughs and watching Max Dood stream through normal and hard mode, I'm still loving this game. Especially with mods now.
weirdly after a certain point Sonon stopped being playable period, I think it was when I entered the VR missions and then finished them, btw this mod doesn't work in the VR mission for whatever reason, but even after that, it wouldn't let me switch to him period, I could only play as Yuffie and only Yuffie
The weapon he has equipped gives him his Sindwinder ability, but it’s pointless at the game seems to be hard coded to not give him atb.
also, There are points in the game where characters are FORCED to despawn, even if hacked into the party. The combat Sim seems to do this with Red, as all my attempts to get him in have failed.
Very nice mod! Thank you. Using the cheat engine stuff is a bit of a hassle and you also risk messing up your entire saves.. so having an actual mod with .pak is so much better. Hopefully some of those "issues" get fixed down the line too
Thats the goal. I'm trying to figure out how to fix some of those issues but I've only had luck with letting Red accept EXP (He normally ignores it, even when controlled. Luckily it was just a flag)
If we ever figure out the other things I 100% plan of adjusting this mod acordingly.

After lifting her Mogri outfit, suddenly I was able to switch in the Centipede battle and now in every battle.
