well during the cutscene just before aerith gets knocked on her ass, her ruby rose outfit glitched out and returned to her normal default outfit and has stayed that way even after the cutscene and reloading a save file
Oh that’s not a glitch. She actually has a Dirty Dress model that the game switches to when that event happens. My mod only changes the texture of her standard outfit, not her dirty one, which is why it appears as though it stopped working in that moment.
There is a way but it has to be done through BluePrint editing through the Uasset editor which is pretty simple, so would you like me to send you a file that'll fix that issue?
I'd say it's more of an outfit inspired by Ruby Rose than a copy of any of her outfits. No Ruby outfit has her rose emblem on the back, for example. That's not a bad thing though.

is there anyway to prevent that change so she stays as ruby the whole time?
i can barely change file names without some kind of problem somewhere

I had another mod I was using with the Ordinary dress because the Ruby stopped working, But i really like the Rube sooo much better
