Thank you to everyone for trying the mods and reporting the issues on here. I tested extensively and was not able to get any crashes switching weapons. This includes a save where I had Cloud, Tifa, and Barret, as well as one with Cloud and Aerith. I also did not have any issues with abilities or spells sticking after removing the materia. Again, tested in both situations, and no issues.
In both cases, the weapons were upgraded, but I did not add any materia slot upgrades to them. If you have weapons with additional materia slots, do not use this mod.
Tested this on Steam version and I have no problems so far. All weapons and armor have 7 and 8 slots respectively(8 for the weapon if you include the summon materia).
Here's what I did to make sure before installing this mod:
1. Remove all materia from all weapons and armor of all party members.(Yes everything) 2. Reset upgrades for all weapons via Chadley 3. Save and exit the game 4. Install the mod 5. Launch game and check 6. Profit?
Also note that you should not upgrade any additional materia upgrades for every weapon as it will exceed the hard limit.(This is important from my observation)
hello, wish to let you know that for steam version, Barret is having a lot of bugs issue. first is when i click on Barret in Equipment and Material, the game will hang, second is the game will crash if i want to reset Barret's upgrade. can you look into this and have an update?
i think the mod will not debug it, since he had stated that there were no issue for him, i think the bug only happens to steam version, tried to reset my weapon upgrade but it keep crashes, reinstall the game and replace the mod folder still the same.
This mods bugs out when you put a materia on the extra slot and then you add a materia slot from the upgrades menu (the one that uses SP) So far tho i have only encountered this problem with Tifa for the summons slot.
Hey cool mod but was wondering if you could make a simplified version with just 3 or 4 m slots for BB and the mild stat buffs. Would rly appreciate it and again very cool mod.

it worked in the past when i last played the game, prior to having pc issues and having to reinstall windows
none of my weapons are maxed out, none of my accessories are maxed out
and none of the god mode stats are on the iron bangle
