I like the styles but using near to pure black for any clothing in any game makes it look as though the it had been erased. Shadows and lighting cannot do its thing to let you know where a crease or stitch is and you have absolutely no sense of depth to go by because of it.
Go with a lighter shade of black, going into the dark grey (example: the blacks used in Nexus mod's comment section). It will let the bits you've colored retain their sense of depth.
Putting Z just means its loaded last, or later, which means you had some other mod conflicting with it. Having it loaded last, overtakes the mod loaded before it.
Try removing all Aeriths Outfits first (Sexy red dress etc) then try this mod. There may be a conflict somewhere. If you have "ZRedHairAerith" (Hair Mod) you can leave that in there as this has no conflict. If other mods works accept for this one, then I have no idea what's missing.
What part of the game are you trying to load? These won't override the corneo section when she's in the cheap, ordinary or sexy dress and they won't override the section where she's looking for Marlene. This isn't a model swap, just an edit of textures so it won't override those outfits.

I dropped the .pak in the Paks folder and didn't work.
I renamed the .pak and it worked! I just put a "z" in front.
BlackJacketPinkPlaid.pak -> zBlackJacketPinkPlaid.pak
