I've temporarily removed the 'sin' modules due to issues and complaints until I find a better and less confusing solution for their creation/modification/and implementation.
They're still in the archive for those who want to use them for the time being
I'm actually at Sector 5 slums on a fresh Envy (normal) walkthrough right now. I will say it's very very difficult, but for me, that's very very fun. Some of these fights end up taking like 20 minutes or more. I love it, I get to savour every moment. One might ask why, and my answer is always because I want to see if it's possible! You have to play the game entirely differently to how you normally would, like saving/reloading at shinra boxes to regenerate MP if there's no benches nearby, using the environment to block attacks or get enemy attack patterns down to perfection.
I guess "Impossible" is kind of a strong word, since with enough time and dedication somebody'll figure something out, but for future reference I mean impossible by normal means, without grinding in places where you usually aren't able to grind etc...
Even still I'm not sure how possible Sephiroth is with his countdown and all that.
Can someone tell me which mode to download for someone who's played ff7r on hard to the max and is looking for a great challenge but no over the top bs
Player controlled party members have reduced stat growth
What exactly does this mean? I just started playing the game so I might not be understanding something. So for example, when I'm playing as Cloud and I level up, he gets reduced stat growth but in the same battle that Cloud leveled up, if Tifa also levels up, there won't be any nerf to her stat growth? What if I used both characters in the same battle? What happens then?
And if I delete this mod, will my character's stats go back the way there were supposed to be or will it forever just stay nerfed?
I want to download this mod but I fear about irrevocable changes.
I decided to download Hardmodule for bosses and enemies (normal stagger) and hardmodule for equipment and materia but for some reason, Cloud, my main active character, has the lowest stats out of my entire teammates. Is that normal or is this something that may have been caused by the mods? I checked my equipment and cloud probably has my best equipment equipped on him. Not sure about materia but I don't think materia could have made such a massive difference to his stats.
Player stat growth means the stats you will normally gain on your level up will be decresed, this applies to all teammates and it will revert if you remove the mod
Your Players Module is WAY too aggressive. Adding in everything but the Stat Growth module barely has an effect on the Air Buster fight, but that one module alone just makes it almost impossible.
Thanks for this. I've been using the HP x 2 (No Stagger Change) option and it's been great to make the combat feel more weighty, given that I've got other more mods to make the bots more useful (more aggressive and take equal aggro) and because items would make it too easy (before going Hard). Haven't tried Hard with this mod yet but I'll let you know. (Platinumed this game on PS4 when it came out FYI).
Would you consider adding a file that only removes the slow down upon opening the commands menu? I tried the Fast Commands file and thought it was such a good idea but later I realised that the file came with all the other changes such as ATB reduction upon blocking and dodging, which I personally didn't like. Thanks!

Could you please make it?
