Thank you for this. Really glad I found this early on in my playthrough. Rebirth looks just a bit washed out and to bright on my monitor. But I'm not messing with my monitor settings when every other game either looks fine, or has a brightness/gamma etc. setting (like 99% of PC games). Your mod with just the "Curve" option on makes the game look just right. Not over blown but just a tiny bit more contrast that makes the game look how I'm pretty sure it should. Or at least how it would again if the game just had a brightness/gamma settings of some kind.
Works amazing, game is completely different now. No more laggy (after other tweaks) but everything is much vibrant and saturated. Previously it was too bright and too washed. Thanks mate, really appreciate it. Playing it in between 2K and 4K. 2K gets me 50-70fps, 4K gets me 35-50fps. No lags or tearing anymore. if anybody wonders if reshade results in fps loss, yes very much, you're literally enhancing the game.
So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this,since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so. I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades. Maybe you (the Mod creator) wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :) If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)
Can't do that by now, I'm on a trip and far way from my Gaming PC. But Thats strange! You should normaly open the Reshade menu by "home" key ingame! O.o
if you want to open it by 'shift + f2' go to the 'reshade.ini' file and have the input section like this: (if you the input section doesn't exist than just copy it) [INPUT] ForceShortcutModifiers=1 InputProcessing=2 KeyEffects=118,0,0,0 KeyNextPreset=0,0,0,0 KeyOverlay=113,0,1,0 KeyPerformanceMode=0,0,0,0 KeyPreviousPreset=0,0,0,0 KeyReload=0,0,0,0 KeyScreenshot=44,0,0,0
Hair is terrible as with all the presets that mess with anything but colors but there seems that you may have sharpening on too high as I can see grain on the wall, the truck and the houses. Still looks good, I would personally tone them down.
I did test it and is not worth the performance that I'm losing. After disabling some shaders it wasn't stuttering anymore, but it still looks like I just turned the brightness down. This is a common problem with ReShade presets, not just yours.

My reshade.ini doesn't have INPUT mapping, i tried shift + f2 and home but nothing happened.
[INPUT]
ForceShortcutModifiers=1
InputProcessing=2
KeyEffects=118,0,0,0
KeyNextPreset=0,0,0,0
KeyOverlay=113,0,1,0
KeyPerformanceMode=0,0,0,0
KeyPreviousPreset=0,0,0,0
KeyReload=0,0,0,0
KeyScreenshot=44,0,0,0
60fps locked btw too.
