Just wanted to point out 1 minor thing that Aerith refers to Madam M as "Mum" is kind breaking the immersion a little bit. I don't know if there are any other translations that are too literally/closely translated like that. Hopefully, there are none.
Nevertheless, this mod makes my 2nd run through Hard mode quite fun to read through the dialogue once again to see the differences compared to the English script.
Are you planning on doing something like this along with having faithful subs for other games in the future. Personally I think this is a good idea you have here.
I've commented in another thread about wanting to explore FF8. I bought the JP version at a con last month and have looked around for the right tools that can extract and inject the text.
