I rly appreciate this mod. I'm using it alongside the old HD project.
Your signs and posters make the biggest impact - They are the first thing that catches my eye! 😉

Thank you, I hope Rebirth won't need the same treatment.

Which injected objects would you recommend from the HD Project? Aerith flowers causes lots of slow downs for me. Do you think it's a loading order issue. Which ones do you personally use?

All of them except the flowers, there's something wrong with them, they're basically halving the framerate.

i think it may be the white flower that's causing the big fps hit in hd proj. which i could figure out how to unpack the pak lol.

u recommend to use this only w/ hd proj injected. but does this cover all the other stuff hd proj does? like enemies, npcs, and environments? thanks

I use the HD Project and the only thing i had to remove was the pak for the flowers. Its literally the only one causing the FPS to drop heavy for me. My question is, is this compatible with the HD Project at all?

Edit: My bad, i just read it is compatible on top of HD Project.

I was wondering if you could help me, the 3 photos inside Jessie's dad room is pixelated when I go to them. As soon as drag my view away from them and back or walk back and forth, the mod seems to take effect and its no longer pixelated. Is there anyway to fix this. I also have HD project installed, do you think that's causing the conflict?

Seems like a problem with mip maps. Try to temporarily remove HD project or try some texture streaming/mipmap Engine.ini tweaks.

I see. Thanks :) What engine tweaks would you recommend to fix the texture streaming/ mipmap issue? I have an RTX 3060, i7 7700k and playing at 1080p.

If I only have HD Project installed, how should I rename this mod in the load order?

I'm not sure, I don't know the priority of files in folders. I think if you have everything in the "HD Project" folder and my .pak outside it, then my upscales will take priority.

Could you upscale all of the skyboxes when in the slums and other areas that are underneath Midgar?  They look super terrible when playing at 4K.

I'll keep it in mind, I don't know if skyboxes are among normal textures.

quick question; Why hasn't anyone created a texture overhaul mod yet? The HD texture mod only increases the resolution of existing textures without adding any new details. Is it difficult to create a mod that improves the textures of the scenery/backgrounds?

I don't know either...Remake needs it badly, and Rebirth too when it comes out on PC, Squarenix is totally kidding us!!!
If I knew how to do it I would redo the textures because FF7 is really one of the most important games for me.
But unfortunately I have no knowledge in this area, and I don't know where to go to learn how to do that...

    It's Perfect thank you!
Is it compatible with HD project mod?

Do you plan to improve textures and redo the ugly one?

    Thanks

Yes, but if they edit the exact same textures one of them will be overwritten depending on your mod load order.

Yes, it's based on alphabetical order. The mods loaded last overwrite the ones loaded earlier.
