Thanks a ton for making this mod. I've wanted to play this game for a very long time but the visual effects make it impossible for me -- I feel as if someone was pinching my brain whenever Cloud attacks. With this, I'll finally be able to enjoy this game! I hope you might be able to reduce them further, know that if you do, I'll be super thankful
I'm so glad this is working for people! I'm not epileptic myself, but my dad has been for most of my life so I've become pretty attuned to what types of flashing lights can be triggers for people. If anyone else reading this plays further into the game and sees any other VFX in the game that are uncomfortable to look at due to flashing, please post it here. I'm playing through the game again to find any other flashes that need fixing, but I'm sure I'll miss some stuff just looking on my own.
Not yet, those are VFX that I still need to go after in a future update. To be honest I need to do a full playthrough of the game so I can catalogue which VFX in Intergrade have changed from the PS4 release to have the really intense flashes, since not all of them have been altered.
Not currently, this mod only targets specific particle effects and reduces their brightness significantly, rather than hiding them. No promises, but it is possible for me to make a separate version of this mod in the future that goes after all battle VFX and turns them off.

This makes the game playable, i was a bout to refund if i couldn't get a fix for this.
