I enjoyed the hard difficulty but I always wanted a hard difficulty at game start and still be able to use items. This is a mod to increase the difficulty of a regular game on normal difficulty. Just install the mod and start a new game on normal difficulty.

This is a complete rebalance of FF7 remake's normal difficulty. Just install the mod and start a new game on normal difficulty. Here are what has changed.
No enemy scaling. As you level up the enemies stay the same.
Use no enemy scaling to your advantage. This is a difficult mod but every time you level up the old enemies get a little easier.
Some item balance changes
Materia balance changes
XP increased
AP increased
Gil decreased
No mana regen during fights but feel free to use items and benches to replenish mp.
This mode a little too hard? Try interrupting enemies with attacks that knock them down and move over to the next enemy. For the first level try using 3 hits from cloud then rolling to the next enemy so they can't attack you as much.
