Wonderful mod. I was wondering if the Shirna building video was a video file maybe it can be color corrected to appear green. But great job either way!
May you swap Mako Reactor battle song with the Demo ver. of the same track?this is the Demo ver. song https://mir.cr/XVIZJ5QR https://youtu.be/gapoGkISIRo?t=48
and this is the final version in the game, the one that I want to swap https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wm76omeNwwU&ab_channel=top10
I really love what you've done here. Unfortunately, this mod will almost certainly have a crash inducing conflict with Altezeinid's HD texture project, which is a must-have mod in my opinion (I play at 4k, so the ugly low res textures are really an eyesore).
This is a problem that affects many great mods now, and although the HD texture project can be painstakingly unpacked and repacked without the files that may conflict with other mods, many will not have the knowledge necessary to do so. On top of that, the textures used here I'm assuming have not been upscaled.
I suspect (and hope) the HD texture project may offer a bit more modularity in the future to partially address this issue, but is it feasible for you to revise some of your mods like this and the proper shinra building look to be based on the upscaled higher quality assets of the HD project? That would solve one problematic aspect of combining these sorts of mods so that the texture work is consistently higher quality.
Beyond that, maybe you could package each of your mods as replacement paks that match individual paks within Altezeinid's mod so they're easily swappable?
Just spitballing some ideas here, I'd love to be able to use your mods as well as the others I'm currently running. I'm gradually coming back to the game now and looking to make some more mods myself, so I'll be around and down to lend a hand if it would be helpful.
Great attention to detail. One thing, though - I'm pretty sure the person in the black suit, white scarf, and fedora was actually Jessie in the OG.
I know this is way beyond what modders are capable of doing, but I think it'd be funny if that person wasn't there, and then at some point during the train ride, a whisper chased him in there, so that even though Jessie wasn't there, someone with the same outfit was. XD
The operative part of my statement, which I now see that I didn't actually mention, was that the character dressed like that in the OG wasn't actually on the train in the Remake.
I just tried to make a joke out of it so that you wouldn't think I was being a jerk. Looks like I failed!
This is such a great mod! One of my biggest problems with the remake is how out of place the NPCs are, they look like hipsters. I hope you continue to do more NPCs!
