I'm running the game on steam, have windowed borders, used process hacker to inject the dll, launches in dx11, but every time I press insert to bring up the mod menu, I get a fatal crash error. I'm not sure what could be going wrong.
Same here. (Steam version.) DLL injected following instruction given, but hotkey "insert" or controler L3+R3 doesn't prompt the menu. What are we doing wrong ?
You're right, my bad!!! However, no idea how it ended up working... I fiddled with Process Hacker 2 settings for a very long time and finally got it to work in windowed and borderless windowed mode. Hallelujah xD Thank you for your work !
Indeed, and no amount of troubleshooting will resolve this issue. Perhaps I need to make it a bit clearer that this is for the [STEAM] version of the game. I am working on an Epic Games port of the menu , but I also have many other projects at hand so I cannot give a conclusive time frame on when that will be completed.
This is an interesting bug. Can you send me the crash report by chance? At least the so I have something to go on.
I have had success using both a PS4 Controller and an XBOX ONE Controller. Both in the wired configuration.
In my next update I will include a method to toggle off the controller inputs to the menu (by default it will be toggled on) but I could also include a user config file to handle a launch config. But this would not really solve your problem I guess. Did you have issues before the controller integration (v1.1) ?
where would the crash log be located. I had a few crashes before but managed get it running while in resolution settings then injecting the dll then i could go in game and it ran fine even using the mod with keyboard work but soon as i turned on the controller it would crash immediately the that's with and without other character mods and the ini hook debug installed. maybe it is the resolution settings what do i need to fill in the engine ini in res to try make it work .
I plan on supporting the Epic Games Version. I may need some help from the community (mostly members who have the game) but I should have something for EGS within the week.
also speed value is +23, any time you level up it resets though.
you'll need to use the item ids for items editor to work, item/equipment addresses are different between different saves but the itemids are always the same, unless you find a different method..these are the first few:

i tried in all possible scenarios. injecting the menu ends with a fatal error all the same
I can get the mod menu to boot. but the moment I turn on Xbox one controller it gets a crash fatal error. if I don't use the controller it works.
is it due to resolution settings or something. I tried in windowed ad borderless same happens using process hacker 2
