Removing the mod does not reset the datapoint cost in Chadley shop, is there another way to reset it? I've tried verify the game files and it still doesn't work.
I'm a bit confused, you mentioned earlier that that you couldn't make limited items from Chadley available (yet) but im seeing materia like Lightning and Wind, Synergy, Gravity and Comet in the images above. Am I missing something?
Wavion2 is correct, chadleys intel “shops” are considered a shop so all the materia he sells is listed there and I just easily moved them to another shop.
for other materia I will have to open the materia asset and the shop asset and cross reference all the materia missing which takes a lot longer as I have to go line by line with just reference names like mag_01 which doesn’t easily tell me what it is. I can do this it will just take time.
i was thinking about this issue regarding the materia transfer problem you're experiencing. How's this for a workaround: rather than transferring the materia from the battle simulations to the shops, perhaps it may be more feasible to reset the battle challenges, and in effect rewarding the exclusive materia once again? You said below the game doesn't do checks for duplicates, so this mod (if its do-able) can be installed and deactivated as many times as required. Its not as quick as buying the materia outright from shops but the mod itself may be less of a headache if bringing simulation materia to shops is taking too much effort.
I was looking to do exactly this but what I can't figure out how to repack the file but any attempt I do causes all shops in the game to break. I am using retoc7r for unpacking/repacking. What do you use? My idea was to just change the item type in the shop to one of the other materia types that don't appear in any shop to figure out which is which.

instead of vending machines, it might be cool to add these to the chocobo shops themselves so they'd be a touch more special that way and one might rp that chadley's in cahoots with them. i might mod this myself :)

also can i use this ,buy all i need then remove it to proceed like normal??
FYI: This will also make it impossible to get through Chadley as it will change the research cost to 1000 as well.
REALLY didn't want to do the 10 million Chadley missions again.
