Thank you so much for releasing this mod. Been looking for something like this for a while. One question, the weapon stats showing in game manual is still the same as before. Is this a bug?
Quick question about the extra materia slots. So on the Chocobo Bracer which only comes with 2 slots originally, but has the perk of tripling AP earned for materia, will this apply to all the new materia slots added by this mod? Or is that bugged?
I have a question. I've been testing a mod by making 100 for all stats on the buster sword for my personal use but when I repack it the game has a fatal error and will not start. Do you have an Idead of what I might be doing wrong?
You have to replace the first 10 bits in hexadecimal of the file .ucas of the new mod by the 10 bits of the original file from which you took the original assets (pakchunk3-WindowsNoEditor.ucas).
I just have an idea that could you please make a mod to extend input timing window for precision defense. And it will be better to add this function on Precision Defense Focus Materia LV3, so it will be exciting for people who have difficulty to catch timing for precision defense, but want to enjoy the battle system as well.
For the moment I will not share more mods, Nex0s has now a policy that reduces the rewards if you offer many mods for interact with the same group of users and that makes that the value of these rewards for all your mods is reduced to 0.
Donation Points - How they work
The system no longer works off of Unique Downloads (UDL) over all time but instead on interactions that occur over a month.
The system has a diminishing returns aspect to it. After a certain number of interactions from the same user across all your mods, the value of these interactions drops drastically. It can and does drop to 0.
We reward authors for posting a variety of content that appeals to lots of different users. Consider diversifying the type of mods you make, or branching out into modding a different game that interests you.
Is it possible to change the skins of weapons yet?? I really love the crystal sword but its lack of materia slots annoys me! I dont like adding "cheats" though :(
I say cheats, its not really cheating as its a mod that adds a preference to a weap. Never understood why people have a serious problem with it. I just like to have at least played vanilla first.
Another thing that's not related to the above, is it possible to tweak the weapon skills at all?
I don't usually use mods in my first games either, although in this case I do use 3 mods Disabled Hit Slow, Most Combative Team Members and Magic ATB Costs 0
hi is it possible you add a version which is like maxed out dmg for the buster sword? or like +9999 dmg for a certain accessories?? thank you very muchhhhhh
Thank you for the mod! You're killing it! I've been using almost all of your mods.
BTW, just wanted to make sure - this will conflict with your other mod: 8 Materia and Skill Slots in MAX LV for Weapons and All Armors (9 Versions) right?
Thanks again for all your sharing man! We all appreciate it. I'm not going to use this mod personally and I know which files it changes but some people might not know which mods are affected by the said file name. Would be nice if you could say which of your mods specifically is not compatible when you have a situation like this.
hoffer1993 read well what this mod does you will see that you don't need the other mod mentioned.
danchico79 It is something I learned from PALWORLD if you write what file it modifies it is very easy to know what mods it will conflict with, whether it is mine or another author's, what I did before (Remake) saying this mod is not compatible with my other mod I will not do it anymore, I learned a lot from that mistake and it generated a lot of headaches for me.
Fair enough. It's your mod. Not mine.😉 I was simply trying to help people who doesn't have the knowledge of assets.
Anyways.. I'm curious. Are you using any .ini files manipulations of your own in the engine? I'd like to compare with mine if you did make one and see if it could improve my gaming experience.
I understand that some users do not understand well what a UASSET means, but this way they end up learning it and it makes life easier for us Fanmodders to know which mods from other authors may conflict, you can't even imagine the amount of reports I received before when I only said which of my mods were not compatible, some even branded me as a scammer and that the images I posted were tricked with Photoshop because they could not use my mods, I also remember that you yourself have been in a similar conversation because the user could not use a mod, I think this way we all win and Google UASSET is not very difficult.
I did not understand the question very well, you mean if I use FFVIIHook, the answer is no, the image I took it from Squareenix.
Yeah, it's possible I've been in a conversation about it. Some people don't seem to understand compatibility issues when modding the same asset file multiple times. That's where patches or merging comes into being useful. I try to help people as much as possible but don't like when someone bash on a author because of it. As long as the modder make it clear which file he is changing, instruction for this type of mods should be quite straightforward.
Sorry if you did not understand me well. My english is not perfect. But yes, i was asking if you were using any engine.ini editing. Hook mostly serve to use the console in game to change settings on the fly. I wasn't even using Hook at first but with the current state of texture streaming and couple other things, it's useful to avoid logging in and out of the game non stop to test different settings.
That's one of the big problems with UE mods you can't create compatibility patches, you have to rewrite the same code of the two mods you want to merge in the same file to be able to use them together, that was one of the main reasons why I started learning how to make my Fanmods.
Oopsie. Too many conversations at once, i missed that one lol... Yeah I know about UE. I worked with the engine a couple times in the last couple years to help a friend on a game development. Which is why i mentioned merging mods. Remember my english is not the best so I will sometimes use wrong terms. For me patch relate to more than just patching a mod. It also means updating and manipulations. That's on me for using words the wrong way probably.
Anyways, I'm with you with your modding community issues. I did delete my account on which I was sharing mods a good number of years ago. I could not handle the toxicity of many people. You've seen how i react on some of your mod pages when someone decides to blame you for their own mistakes and inability to read. Like on your materia mod for this game. I was actually polite with the individual haha. Imagine what it was when it was on mine. Short temper doesn't mix well with this. I had never modded UE games until FF Remake tho. Even now, my knowledge is still very limited compared to xEdit and Masters mods and the likes. Now i will do couple mods for myself but that's it. No more sharing except maybe one thing if I can manage something stable. I was going to start doing mods again for Starfield and deleted the first one I've made because the hate was crazy. Right now I'm working on some engine.ini for Rebirth to counter all the people blasting their own versions with crazy random numbers. They are going overbudget with the streaming textures and keep updating their files because there's always instability, wondering why.. Still not sure if I will share it or not after seeing how things can be negative and toxic on those pages. IMHO right now would be to leave all the streaming to default. No matter what numbers we use, some textures will still be messed up until the game gets a proper patch to hopefully fix that.
Ok enough blah blah from me. Sorry for the novel lol!😅 I will keep an eye for your next incoming mods. Thanks again for all the ones you've shared so far!

I used ImHex to copy the 10 bits but it still didn't seem to take. Hmm back to the drawing board
