I'm using all these mods with 7th heaven...just make sure you run 7th heaven as admin and follow the install instructions correctly using the 7h converter exe.
Lovely wall of ignorance here. 7th Heaven is NOT trash. If it isn't working for you, then *you* did something wrong. 7th Heaven is the literal Keys to the Castle to bringing OG FF7 into the 21st century.
So I'm testing Time Keeper and my question is do I need to start a new game for it to properly work? I mean night time mode works (ish) in some areas even when I load a game. Seems that weather system only works if u start a fresh game, but again it might just be me. The other thing is that it cancels out some other mods when its on for example Im pretty sure it cancels out "Nino Style Vehicle Models" not sure about others. Anyone let me know if there is a way around and such...cheers
I know this comment is a few months old, but you can use 7th heaven's IRO Creation Tool to unpack the .iro file, then use UNLGP+LGP Automatic made by Kranmer to unpack the game's files and move the unpacked .iro contents into the appropriate folders. Then repack the game files with UNLGP and boot the game without 7th heaven as you normally would.
What you can is run the game converter so it puts the drivers in and gives you the folders you need. Then you can unpack the IRO using 7th heaven, then when you have it done, take the Field folder and put it inside FF7/mods/textures. From that point you shouldn't need 7th Heaven (I think) just run the game normally
how to get lgp file? i get png file from this iro. please help, 7th cant run for my ff7.exe, and folder mods/textures didnt exist, if i create manual that folder, mod isnt running.
I greatly appreciate the work put into this, but many times the upscaling leads to warping on the finer background details. Notice the caution lines and the vent on the floor in front of Cloud. At times it can be a scrambled mess. But, all that said, this is still by far the best these backgrounds have ever looked and probably ever will.
Could we get a small tutorial here, stickied, on how to install this manually after unpacking it for people who do not want to use 7H to play the game? I tried already and it just gives me files that it seems like FF7 won't use by itself.
