Well, as of the last update, the game's minimap behavior has finally been fixed, so this mod is no longer necessary if you want to play without the minimap. I will still keep this up because why not, right?

Version 1.0
No Minimap
As of the last update, the game's minimap behavior has finally been fixed (it doesn't keep popping up after you close it), so this mod is no longer necessary if you want to play without the minimap.
I will still keep this up cuz why not
When I started playing the game, the fact that the minimap popped up every time you entered a new area kept bothering me, so I looked up for mods that removed it, and found only a FF1 PR version, created by Thirteen1355, that inspired me to create this mod. The mod is pretty simple: it's suposed to remove the minimap of the game permanently in towns, castles, dungeons, and every area of this kind you can imagine, but you can still simply open the map of the area. The overworld minimap wasn't removed.
