Broken after the update from March 2025. Truly tragic, this mod was incredible, I'd roll back my FF5 version if steam allowed such a thing. Thank you for making it in the first place!
Yeah I actually came here to say exactly that since I'm preparing for Four Job Fiesta next month. Cutscene skipper made things not take so long and a godsend. Hope the mod author updates it!
This is amazing. I am on my first playthrough of FFV (Having played IV and VI PRs though) I was wondering if there is anyway to make this togglable or like add a button prompt script in to skip so the player could watch if a cutscene if needed. My biggest issue is the cut scenes are usually before fights I have to do multiple times and its drives me nuts having to watch the cutscene over and over, but I do still want to see them the first time so I can follow the story if that makes sense.
Would you be able to tell me if it's even possible to do something like that? I appreciate modders and def understand that I am ignorant to all the work and effort that goes into these things. So regardless, thanks for your work and cheers.
Interesting idea, It would be possible to do that but the mod size would grow substantially since the files would have to include all of the normal cutscene data. As is the mod cuts down nearly every file to it's absolute minimum size containing only the code needed to jump to the next section in every included script.
For some reason this mod makes the game run at 5fps. First mod I've had issue with on any PR game, and I've done nothing different from any of the others. Magicite version.
I'm having a heck of a time trying to install this, I went to Magicite github from the dependency page that this links to but it then further links to some other thing (Bepin?) on another git page that doesn't seem to have any explanation of how to install?
I tried the memoria version too since I was able to find that on Nexus but it also didn't work and I'm not sure why. I was just dropping everything in the pixel remaster's main folder which I think is what it said to do? Any help is very welcome, this mod would be really great for doing more than 1 fiesta a year without having to resort to the SNES version for speedup lol
