      Indeed. Although I think there is a modular mod available somewhere already where you can choose that option. I could make a separate version of this mod with only hair though, if you'd like

   How does one rip the models or textures? Been dying to make stuff with them for a while. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Ah, that's fine. In that case check these 2 repos out. Both allow you to convert files into more editable formats. FF16Tools and FF16Converter.
      Additionally there is a website with a few guides on how to start modding. Link!
