Good day everyone. Just a couple questions: does anyone know where to find the save files in Steam Deck? And the "saves files" are all in PNG image files instead of SAV format. Will they really work?
Unless I'm missing something, these files don't appear very useful if you're new to the game and want to skip to Final Fantasy mode. I've heard the base difficulty is a joke and I'd like to go straight to the "hard" mode. But it seems these save files don't unlock the option to start FF mode unless you load them and beat the final boss. The creator mentioned in the description that was required for NG+, but I didn't know that was tied to FF mode as well.
I've never played before and don't want the final boss spoiled. I also probably wouldn't be able to beat it without any experience playing. So it's seems this is really only for those that have played before but don't have their save files anymore or played on console.
If you're brand new to the game and want to start with Final Fantasy mode ("hard mode"), choose the third save file.
The Final Fantasy mode/new game plus option doesn't unlock until you beat the final boss, which is why I provided that save file. It starts at the beginning of the game on Final Fantasy mode (only available in new game plus), with everything carried over from the game clear file.
I updated the description to be more clear. Hope this helps.
Great mod, worked fine for me but that leviathan is proving to be a pain in the ass when reaching phase 3. I can't break the sphere because it has too much health. How do you edit the save to reduce the difficulty because rn it's impossible to 'finish the game'.
make sure youre not underleveled. Its a dps check. try this. 3 normal attacks with a magic burst finisher. rinse and repeat. Use your abilities as soon as they are available. Red bar brimstone and Spitflare until its done.
That's kind of what I dislike about it since I would really love to see a save like this with all the side quests and dlc untouched. Idk if he will make one but il be happy if he does.
I just finished the game on my PS5 and I'm planning to buy the DLC to complete the quests and side quests. If I use your save file, will I be able to continue with the quests? Iād rather not replay the entire game.
