Allows Noctis to use all warp points across Eos out-of-combat, including Altissia.

Open World Warp Points removes the restriction on warp points being flagged for in-combat use only, making all points available across the entire game at all times. Works in Insomnia, dungeons, all of Lucis, etc...
This is a manual / old-school version of this mod. Flagrum mods and Curseforge are the current home for all modern Final Fantasy mods, however it was requested to make a manual installation version
There are two mod versions:
- All warp points are enabled with no script changes, keeping the edit to a singular file.
- Includes the above, plus adds some custom scripts to restore the use of Altissia warp points from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. (This is the main version of the file)
The game does block you from warping outside a battle area during combat, even if you can target one.
I now have the ability to adjust warp point ranges more broadly and may release a separate version with extended ranges in the future.
To install:
Extract contents of the zip to the game directory: i.e.
[path to your steam directory]\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XV\datas
accept overwrite when prompted. (if no overwrite was prompted, double check the end file went to the correct directory)For troubleshooting file locations, Two files need to be replaced
- place
autobuild.earc
into the following locationC:\[your steam library]\ Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\common
- and
area_ra_share_world_quest.earc
into the following location
C:\[your steam library]\ Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XV\level\world\area_ravettrice
**NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY **
To increase the range of compatibility with other mods it is recommended to use Flagrum to manage file-by-file game modding, as manually managing mods without Flagrum reduced the number of mods you can have without overwriting other mods.
Anyone not using Flagrum to manage mod conflicts, this mod overwrites:
FINAL FANTASY XV\datas\common\autobuild.earc
Which is used in a number of other mods, therefore using this mod will overwrite and conflict with any other mod that targets this earc. Examples:
Rebalanced Ascension
Royal Arms - No HPDrain
Encyclopedia Gender Equality
Avatara as Noctis in Singleplayer Restored
...and possibly other mods, as this single file contains a lot of important files used for a number of larger mods, although most of these will be found on Curseforge and will already require Flagrum. These mods can only be used at the same time while using Flagrum, but you will have to only choose one of the above if you are replacing the files to mod directly without Flagrum.
Making your own compatibility patch:
I have upload the source file I edited to make the mod as an optional file, and can be replaced manually to make your own merge version using FFXV Scout.
Please ask questions regarding the tool only on the discord linked below, as I'm not trying to make guides or troubleshoot tools on each of my mods that target these files.
Please do not re-upload combinations / repacked versions of existing mods.
