copied and pasted from another explanation i made:
part 1 because of steam character limit: Textools, piece them together in FMV, export and open in blender Follow the WoL shader guide to get the colors correct, save the modified textures (which should be in the texture baking thing in blender, like in texture paint there should be a list of textures and you can save those individual ones) or soemthing. i think i had to bake my modified textures and save them to my pc from there, but idk. the guide should go over it https://twitter.com/SpookyMajora/status/1439813284874670083 It's a great guide, very helpful.
part 2 because of steam character limit: So to break it down: Your steps are basically: Textools, to piece them together. Blender, to get the WoL Shader set up, and your correct skin/hair textures saved And then follow the basic l4d2 (in this case, FFXV, just go look up how to model import in ffxv) survivor porting guide (cut some irrelevant stuff to ffxv here) it can be a bit confusing so it might take a while but you'll get it :D all it takes is determination to see your mod through to the end!! good luck :D
FFXV is very difficult to mod properly and I never figured out how to get his transparency stuff working, and it ended up being very not worth it. Obviously Square has a way to do it because they have a FFXIV collab and their FFXIV Miqo' looks exactly like it would in FFXIV but I don't have access to the stuff that they do (obviously)
Dropping in again. Do you know any way to combine textures from one outfit with another? Like I combined the anemos shirt with the calfskin rider's jacket because I really liked how the combo looked. And I put bat wings from the batliege osode on the pants. The only thing I don't have any idea how to do is apply and use textures in general.
You should ask the discord, I modded FFXV like a total of 2 times and atm im taking a extended break from modding because it's not really fun for me anymore. Sorry D:
I'm sorry, but I can't add anything that I have not created, and since I have not made a Yozora mod, nor do I play or have access to KH3, and nor do i really want to make a Yozora mod, i will not be making a mod replacing Noctis with Yozora, probably ever. Also, modding FFXV is incredibly difficult and i kinda hate doing it. This mod didn't even turn out right, half his textures are messed up because of FFXV not supporting transparency maps. So, i am sorry, but you will have to find someone else to make a Yozora mod for you :(
I understand. The mod is amazing in my opinion (= but in regards to the yozora mod, i meant getting the mod that is in the steam workshop and putting it into nexus, because I have no idea how to send it into the non steam version
