This doesn't seem to actually "fix" the shadows. All it does is tell the game, "Oh, you don't wanna cast proper shadows on the player models? Fine! Then you don't get to cast shadows on anything!
You may not know this, but it used to be generally not possible to edit exml files. The only way was to delete the file. Nobody else would make this modification, so I did my own research and made as much as I could. If you are dissatisfied with it, make it yourself.
At least it won't be fixed by Square Enix.Because the game files haven't been updated in years. This problem is seen not only in snapshots but also in Ansel, so we cannot deny the possibility that the shader by NVIDIA is the problem. However, it is also true that many people prefer to use NVIDIA GPUs to use Ansel in FF15.
I appreciate it my guy. Haven't encountered any issues whatsoever after deleting the original file. Excellent job. It was really immersion breaking when first entering this location. BIG UP'S!!!
I followed the instructions but I keep getting this error when I try to load a saved game in galdin. Trying a new game seems to work but I havent gotten to galdin quay yet to say if the fix worked on my system. Know any work around on this?
Yes. I'm deleting the file mentioned in that message. However, this does not usually result in an unload error. For example, if we delete "le_gq_shop01_envsys.earc" in its entirety, it will still load without problems.
Since the error message says "Render", I think it may have been rendered using a different engine than usual. Other than that, I don't know.

It is clear they abandoned the game, and they don't care!
