As far as I can tell, only the main file is required, not the Endwalker patch. I can see eyebrow and eyelash detail increasing on my Veena when I enable the main mod.
Even after removing Atramentum Luminis completely, and freshly reinstalling face defined, the watermark is still there. Basically I have to turn the male miqote face off
This is not a glitch with face defined. This "glitch" so to speak is caused directly by the mod called Atramentum Luminis.
Some of the assets in face defined had a sort of watermark or signature embedded into a section of the texture that textools and the game did NOT or would never normally pull from. This was originally added as in the past there were instances of individuals using older versions of my work or even defined assets and claiming as their own without knowing. When using the textures improperly the signature would show up in the alpha channel identifying myself as the creator.
Atramentum Luminis is a mod that modifies the materials of the game to behave differently than the normal and forces anything that is in the alpha channel of the textures to appear and glow. Once I can find time from my new job which has me working crazy morning hours,5 days a week I can see about making a Atramentum Luminis patch for those who actually use that mod.
Again, it is not a bug with the mod, it is a personal signature embedded into a normally unused part of the texture that the game does not touch. Atramentum Luminis modifies the textures to behave in a way they are not supposed to.
Just wanted to speak up in relation to an issue I've had. Faces Defined has started causing me to have errors/crashes with FFXIV. Without Faces Defined, I have no problems with my usual loadout/reshade. The moment I install it, if I'm in a place with a larger player count, ffxiv_dx11.exe errors everywhere. I wonder if one texture or something might be having a bad time? Or maybe it's just trying to load too much and causing strain. Not sure, but it was never an issue before the last update. Figured I'd reach out.
I don't know if the mod author visits this site all that much, but I wanted to point out that using all three of their recommended mods in tandem (namely Hair, Face and NPC Defined) causes TexTools to have write errors. Too many mods, methinks. The filecount in these are getting a mite too large.
edit: Ignore this, was wrong and using Direct X 9 version of TexTools.... somehow.
