We also have Discord Server if you need more help or just want a place to hangout. Given the amount of mods I've created so far I figured it would be nice to have everything in one place.
The latest Dalamud beta for 7.3 has an issue with Optiscaler and crashes on startup just so everyone is aware, whether it'll be fixed by the Dalamud team is not confirmed yet.
Seems to be working well for me on Linux, way more crisp than the default DLSS... I am pretty sure I am also getting significantly better performance? I am using the Quality preset too. Installing it was also really easy... it even plays nice with my ReShade and its presets. They just work together really well. I didn't even have to configure anything, really, other than winecfg to set the .dll to native, builtin.
Thanks.
EDIT: Oh, also I did not use the 'DLSS Linux Support mod' in optional files.
I'm trying to understand what I might have done wrong mmm.
I'm on Linux right now (Fedora) and I installed FFXIV via the XLCore compatibility tool. I copied all the files in `~/.xlcore/ffxiv/game/` cause that's where the `.exe` is. I also added the commandline in `XIVLauncher` under "Additional Game Arguments": `WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp.dll=n,b" %command%`. Renamed FSR3 Quality ini file into `Optiscaler.ini`. I launched the game but the dropdown to swap from "AMD FSR" to "DLSS" is disabled for me. I see "4090" as a graphics card, but I cannot enable `DLSS` somehow.
Unfortunately selecting fsr 3.x/dx12 crashes the game on linux making fsr4 not usable. Anyone else with the same problem or a fix/workaround? Using CachyOS with meta git installed.
I'm in the same boat here, even using the "vanilla" and fully updated Optiscaler from Github (plus their FSR4 instructions). Assuming you didn't find a fix?
Following the instructions and launch commands allows DLSS to be selectable in game (Fedora Linux + 9070 XT + XIVLauncher), but no upscaling/anti aliasing takes place and the Insert menu does not appear. Using Proton GE 10-10 in place of default Wine 10.8 used by XIVLauncher does not help.
Yes it's using DLAA now, see the ratio override is set to 1.0 and at the bottom the resolution is the same as your native one. Override Preset on the left side should be set to preset K though to enable DLSS4.

appreciate the help
Edit: this seems to be a vanilla XIVLauncher issue. See this issue on Github.
