This is a simple gameplay reshade preset to brighten colours and make the world of FFXIV pop just a little bit more.
It's made using Espresso Glow's Shadowbringers Gameplay preset as a base, but over the years I have changed and made adjustments to suit my tastes, and I wanted to share it with you all as a gameplay preset that may also be to your liking!
I use a fairly old monitor which doesn't have great colour, so this preset may be more suited to other players with a similar screen, and less suitable for those with IPS setups or similar.
This preset utilises the following:
A huge thank you to Espresso Lalafell for the base preset used for this. Please support them and look into their Espresso Glow preset pack!
To install please unzip the .zip and paste the "Aster Gameplay.ini" file into your reshade-presets folder in your FFXIV game folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\gamehowever your location may vary). Then paste the contents of the Shaders and Textures folders into their corresponding subfolders within your reshade-shaders folder.
Reshade is required to be installed first. For a simple and FFXIV-tailored version I highly recommend Espresso Lalafell's custom installer: link here
Alternatively, please install the latest version of Reshade directly from its site.
Screenshots shown in the gallery for this mod may have other mods visible on them; this mod does not include any of those, and the screenshots are intended only for demonstrating the post-processing shader changes.
