1. Did a hard, complete uninstall of ReShade 2. Re-installed ReShade with full add-on support, selecting ffxiv_dx11.exe and DirectX 10/11/12 3. Extracted the .7z in the same folder as ffxiv_dx11.exe and allowed all of the existing files to be overwritten
When I try to select the preset, it only applies a few of the effects, which I've listed below.
According to the .inis, there are several effects that aren't being applied, such as Adaptive Fog and Colourfulness. Any idea what could be causing this?
EDIT: I went through the Medium .ini to try to manually activate the missing effects, and I couldn't find Depth3D.fx in the list of effects. I don't know if this would effect anything.
EDIT 2: I realized that the Techniques section lists what effects should be active and in what order, and the effects I listed are correct. The game just looks magenta and certain angles completely blur sections of my character into blobs.
no matter what i do i can't get this shader to fully work. all of my files are up to date and none of the color correction is working. the only part that seems to work is the camera fuzzing things at a distance.
I downloaded just now with the updated version but still appearing black and white.. tried to use the link you given but it seemed to be lost :( Hopefully I can get it to work soon!

Download reshade with full addon support. You must download the version with full add-on support. The regular ReShade will not work with FFXIV.
Install reshade into: SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\ffxiv_dx11.exe
Select DirectX 11, you don't have to select any of the other options.
Next go to where ffxiv_dx11.exe is located, and delete the "reshade-shaders" folder. Then just drag the contents of this mod into the same folder.
Log into the game, open reshade, and select one of the simple and clean preset. Done.

The video above should help.
For my part, I only turned off bloom since I really prefer to have sharp textures in general. Awesome job!!
