the instructions on how to do so on textools are available on the bibo+ mod page, and for penumbra the penumbra guide you can find in its discord has the necessary steps
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be working. I've used it with Bibo+ and I haven't been able to get it to load at all. I've even used the instructions @tigerxchaos posted before, as well, with no results. Am I doing this incorrectly?
Are your upscales no longer compatible with Gen3? I installed this over a Gen3 body, but the textures are so glitched (and invisible in some areas) that I can't even perform the usual Bibo+ > Gen3 skin material change.
My current updates require using the latest Bibo+ version (2.1.1 at the time of writing). The new Bibo+ modpage has explanations on how to make older mods work with it using TexTools's material auto-assigner.
The auto-assign default option in TT settings doesn't fix this, and the Tools > Auto-Assign Skin Materials option looks like it might apply to everything you have installed, which I didn't want to do for fear it would break mods I've already adjusted the skin materials for.
I think I've figured this out though - although the model and textures very glitched after importing if you have a Gen3 body, the same process of reassigning the skin material still works - you just have to ignore that there's no identifiable skin-specific mesh. 1) Import mod with TexTools 2) Search for the Thav Bustier in TT > select the Models tab at top > select "Hyur Midlander Female" in the race drop-down below that 3) Select "Import" button at bottom, below the model viewer 4) Make sure the field at top reads "using existing model" - if not, click on the "Use Existing" button to the right 5) Click "Open Editor" button at bottom 6) Make sure the Group drop-down at upper left is set to "#0: Group 0" 7) In the Material drop-down, it will read "mt_c0201b0001_bibo". Click this, select "Custom" 8) In the text field below the drop-down, change "mt_c0201b0001_bibo.mtrl" to "mt_c0201b0001_d.mtrl" 9) Click "Import" button at lower right 10) A warning may appear in the log about an unusual UV; ignore this and close the window when complete 11) The TT model previewer should update and the model will look normal.
This seems to have worked for me. Hopefully it will help others who run into this and don't want to install Bibo+ alongside their Gen3 bodies due to the lack of information about how to properly get both sets working together. Feel free to use this instruction in your future releases, assuming it makes sense.
Thanks for all your work and contributions to the modding community - I find your conversions to be the highest-quality ones available due to the natural appearance of your model shapes, instead of so many other creators who just seem to form the clothing over the body model as if it were a rigid fabric shell, resulting in the bust looking bizarrely pointy and oversized.
