i gotta thank you from the bottom of my heart. i dont know how i just found out about this shader now. ive tried them all . been trying them since the early days of reshade...sure, a lot of em kinda breath new life into the game by making xivs dull color pallet more vivid but....man, what you did here is "something else". it looks like a completely different game. the best every other shader could hope for is to make me wanna vomit A LITTLE BIT les while looking at xiv...but this actually makes the game look beautiful. you are an absolute magician!!!!! thank you again (some people say it looks too dark but....its the same reason strip clubs keep the lights low on a tuesday afternoon. compromises need to be made. xiv is no spring chicken. believe me you dont wanna look at it with the lights on)
I was fiddling in the shaders menu and wondered if you have DeHaze.fx active on the preset as a solution to the glowy UI problem? In that case, KeepUI.fx has this "Occlusion Assistance" checkbox that seems to solve the issue, making it more lightweight if you disable DeHaze.fx
amazing looks. id just really like if it was possible to add a little more color to the already color drained standard pailette of ffxiv while using this filter. im not experienced with changing settings in gshade so i dont know what to change in order to make everything a little more vibrant. anyone got suggestions regarding this ?
Hi, thanks! It's actually pretty easy to adjust any Gshade filter to your own liking. Open the Gshade settings in-game (Shift + F2) and you can adjust all the settings. To add more color you could try to adjust the "Colourfulness" and/or "Technicolor2" setting. Increasing Colourfulness in the Colourfulness setting and/or Increasing the Saturation setting in Technicolor2 will add more color. Just experiment a lot and find the flavor that you like :)
I'd like to thank you for making Prism. It's my absolute favorite shader preset. It really brings to me vibes of a mix of Monster Hunter and Souls games (Bloodborne, Dark Souls, etc) do with lighting, texture rendering, and fog in the background. Thank you so much!
(Only small adjustment I've made is preset order to accommodate 'UIRestore' (or something like it) as the last item in the list, so the shader effects don't affect the game UI)
Thanks a lot for your kind words! I actually LOVE dark souls and that is exactly the kind of look I was going for ^^ I have uploaded a fixed version with FFRestoreUI at the bottom of the load order, thanks!
This is a very powerful preset. What I meant by that is it's actually very good. I used a bunch of preset for my gameplay and this one doesn't disappoint and preset is also very good for gpose. Love it !
I have GShade installed and I get the menu with Shift+F2, but I don't see your preset in there. I've extracted the file several times and even reinstalled Gshade.
it doesn't work. i've done all steps that you describe in tutorial but I after pressing shift+f2 nothing happens, also there is no any additional red bar or any other bar in the game.
