So I wanted to edit one of the custom bars a little, the "Menu" bars specifically, but the 9th bar that appears when I press 9 only has the "Toggle Database" macro on it, and nothing else. There's no buttons to reorder or anything else, so I'm not sure what to do. I've checked on all the jobs that are supposed to have things in that bar, both in PvP areas and outside, and nothing ever shows up in that bar besides the "Toggle Database" macro.
At this point I've customized pretty much everything else, so I'm not to keen on downloading a new config for when Dawntrail comes out to add the Viper and Pictomancer jobs to a bar somewhere, but at this point I'm pretty stumped on what to do.

Hey, I had the same "problem", wanted to remove spells from actionbars to create my personal setup for them. But when I press "9" like you wrote nothing happen, no padlock Icon appears :/ Any way I can unlock the bars? :O
I have the same issue as kiyuga89. No padlock to be found anywhere. Could really use help, looked through all menus and options in order to unlock it but to no avail.
Hey guys can you help me please? I want to play the game on my steam deck and I never have played FF14 before with controller. My idea was to play the game with the Controller config of this config, but i dont know how to activate the controller mode and config. All works fine i can controll jump and autto atack and have shortcuts with controller but my hotbar is still the classic / default hotbar from a pc and not a controller one. Also they are 2 long hotbars, so the config was not loaded correctly. Pleas help, thanks :)
When I try to open the Fr4nsson's FFXIV Config Installer, I'm prompted with this error message "To run this application, you must install missing frameworks for .NET / Would you like to download it now?" When I select "Yes", nothing happens. (I'm running it on a Windows 11 laptop). Tried intalling the NET Framework 4.8, but it said I already had a higher version installed. Can anyone help me, please?
If you don't have the runtime you will be prompted to download it first time running the installer. On Microsoft's website, choose Run desktop apps and then choose the correct one for your system, usually x64. After the runtime has been installed you can run the FFC installer again.
This has been absolutely amazing on PC! However, I tried getting it to work on the steam deck with the 1080p resolution with using steam to change the games resolution and stuff but it doesn't seem to work :( if it's possible making a 1280x800 resolution version would be a godsend!

Repelling Shot was assigned twice and Pitch Perfect cannot be assigned to hotbar like in screenshot.
