I assume that since there was no update for years, the issue with missing weapons during some cutscenes can't be fixed.
Is it possible to adjust the mod to swap actual models within the game files instead of just entry in database that tell the game engine which model should be loaded and displayed? At least that how I understand HD Models Plus mod works, if I'm not mistaken.
How different is the animation structure across each weapon model for that specific character? Would that make the weapon swap work in cutscenes as well, would it be exact same result as swapping the model entry in database, or it would actually cause even worse issues every time the game is expecting to load default weapon model?
The mod works great! But I've noticed that Lightning's omega weapon seems a little bugged for me. When you enter battle with it and lightning pulls it out, its like in gun blade form.
It may be that the omega weapon just doesn't support the animation required for that segment, or perhaps it's missing a necessary joint. When I get a chance I'll take a look at it, but there is probably nothing I can do to fix it. If it bothers you too much, you'll just have to load a different weapon.
Can you make lightnings weapon and sheath invisible like with the "sarah no weapon" model swap? it is really annoying seeing it hit her legs constantly and since I use your other mod to bring in her model from LRFF13 and the sacred knight model the weapon is sort of just floating there and banging against her kneeds.
Thanks, i recommend that in order to make the mod more widely used that you remove it from the base skin or your ultimate lighting skin though, that way its not just the sacred knight one.
I've put in a way to make parts of the model changes optional through user input (kind of like Yes/No type questions). I'll add that to various Lightning substitutions. Hopefully within the next couple of days. It will also make the 2 Serah versions unnecessary as you will be able to do either within a single version. I will require a updated version of HD Models+ to make it work. I'll post an update when I actually get it done and uploaded to Nexus.
