If anyone is having trouble and has the FFXIII Fix mod all you have to do is just as BlurredVision mentioned:
Install the "FFXIII Fix" Mod
Take that .dll that was generated in your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\prog\win\bin" folder and rename it "Reshade32"
Install the Reshade Mod
Should load up just fine on Steam and "Home" key should bring it up.
I followed all the steps. The only thing I can't do is set my video to full range because I play on a television (which is apparently restricted to limited).
Something gone wrong in your Installation (check if you have reshade-shaders folder , d3d9.dll and Reshade.ini in the [FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\prog\win\bin ] folder) or compatibility problems with something in your PC (maybe some software, antivirus, etc. ) . Some antivirus can consider d3d9.dll file as a threat and put in quarantine.
The d3d9.dll file is missing. I don't have any antivirus running either. Not why it wouldn't be there otherwise, since I definitely followed the directions step by step.
Unless the data in the file is specific to the installation, I do have that file in other folders. I'll try copying it and see if that changes anything.
It's possible Razer Cortex has something to do with it as well.
Edit: I reinstalled, following the steps again. Everything is there, but 'home' key still doesn't do anything. Would it be another key, maybe?
The issue is the FFXIII Fix generates the same d3d9.dll that the reshade does, so it's one or the other. When I create the .dll from reshade I cant load from steam/launcher, but can use reshade when I launch the game from the ffxiii.exe.
Edit: I tried renaming the reshade generated d3d9.dll to ReShade32.dll, then installed the Fix after, I can launch the game from steam and reshade menu is active.
I have problem by this step " In the shaders window you can click on "Uncheck all" and check only these .fx files: In the shaders window you can click on "Uncheck all" and check only these .fx files: AmbientLight.fx, Border.fx, Curves.fx , FakeHDR.fx, LumaSharpen.fx , Tonemap.fx and Vibrance.fx" these fx are not displayed to me in the last window. In the list are only Daltonize.fx, Deband.fx DisplayDepth.fx. LUT.fx and UIMask.fx.
Been looking for a way to get rid of that awful grey filter that ships with the PC version of the game and this preset is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
is your Reshade compatible with the one that is already posted on here ? i am currently using that one. I want to use yours too but I dont know if that is possible . A little of help from you would be great. BTW can i use this with FFXIII - 2 too ?

Followed all the steps exactly, the files are all in the right directory. Press the Home key in-game. Nothing happens
