    I had a quick question which I can't seem to find an answer to online. Would this mod let you access the optional roles for characters that gets unlocked normally at chapter 10?

      You can edit the secondary role crystariums, but they will still only unlock at the specific points in the game.

    so it loads up the data in the character tab, when i press save on that tab the spreadsheet just crashes :(

    Hey GreenThumb2 - not sure if you're still monitoring this, but I've found a way to add certain auto abilities to the Crystarium after doing some VBA editing (thanks for writing such straightforward code!!). I've added some user images as evidence. Let me know if you want to work together on an update - I'm sure you could figure it out yourself though!

      Honestly, I probably will not be doing anything else with this mod.  This is the first one I published and it has limited value due to the requirement of using Excel.  Excel provided an easy graphical interface, but other than that, there are simpler ways of editing the Crystarium.

      Hey Beelzepog, quick question:
      I would really love to try and add these to my own game, but I quickly hit a snag: how do you find the IDs for auto-abilities? I've poked around the VBA editor so I think I'll manage to figure out how to add them myself, but the only ability IDs I can find are the ones already added to the editor. I'm looking through the Cheat Engine but I've little experience with it and have become lost while looking. I'll probably manage to brute-force my way through it eventually, but if you could point me in the right direction for the IDs it would be such a big help to me.

      It sounds incredibly interesting and would really revolutionize the editor for me; I've long thought about experimenting and adding certain auto-abilities to different crystariums. Along with stat changes it would really allow for more specialized and distinct characters in my custom challenge runs. I felt compelled to ask you after seeing your screenshots, I almost couldn't believe it'd be possible.

    So I played through ff13 when it first came out and recently picked it back up for a second playthrough.  Then I remembered how utterly tedious the leveling was and decided to get a mod to help with that.....  I have everything needed except the tzarsectus ff13 tool... and the direct download is down and won't load and I cannot for the life of me find a single alternative download for it.

    Is there anywhere I can get this one file required to make any of this work or am I just boned?

      Download one of the newer mods. Almost all of those now include it and you can just copy it.

    This mod doesn't work with the Japanese voice pack, right? Do you have any idea why it would force me to use the Japanese audio after I began using the mod? I inserted all of the characters' edits into the game, and then launched it with English sound settings, but it's using Japanese audio, which I've never used anytime before now. I restart the game over and over and it refuses to use the English audio. I've started a new game, by the way. I haven't gotten to Chapter 3 yet to see if the Crystarium changes went through, but I expect them to be default since you said it doesn't work with the Japanese audio. I'm scared to try and do anything because I've spent 14 - 15 of the last 24 hours working on this.

      It should work with both the Japanese and English versions, loading the modified crystarium files into each.  It has nothing to do with which language you use.  That should be determined by what you select in the launcher.

    Hello! Is there any problem with increase role level over 5?

      Probably.  There are entries in one of the .wdb files that identifies the bonuses with the various role levels.  There won't be any for roles above 5, so even if the game doesn't crash, it won't have the desired effect you would be looking for.

      It should be possible to modify the values as long as the correct ones can be found.  I think there may be some that are in the scripts rather than just a database entry, but I never looked too closely into it.

    im playing around with this now and i was wondering there  a cap on stats IE. can you exceed 99,999 health or 9999 strength and magic? without crashing the game

      I'm not sure what the exact limit is, but you should be able to put strength/magic up to at least 32767.  Health can probably go much higher (as enemies can) but you keep each individual crystarium node at or under 32767 as it is stored in a 16 bit integer (not sure if it is signed or not, which is why I'm suggesting that number rather than 65535)

      Thanks for the info!

      A small test I did charcter hp caps at 99,999, strength and magic I got to over 12,000. I might test to see if it goes to 99,999 but that might be too high for the gamee as you will for sure exceed 99,999 damage with the genji glove item. With just basic attacks.
