    Sorry, I'm new to the modding community, so some of these questions may be dumb. Thank you in advance for help. 

    1. Will this work on steam deck? (Just bought one recently so decided to try mods. I'm usually a console player.)

    2. Will this mod spawn hidden chests like the Seitengrat? (The main reason I want to use it).

    3. For clarification purposes: unique chests are the ones that only spawn once in the unmodded game? So turning it to true keeps these chests one time only even with the mod?

    4. Does this mod affect the RNG of the chests items or just the spawning of the chests themselves?

      1. Yes, it works anywhere where its requirements work.

      2. It will spawn the treasure, but not guarantee that you get the Seitengrat from it as that is tied to another randomness check which is not modified by this mod (on purpose).

      3. Yes, but it doesn't matter if your game is modded or not. Unless a mod author changes the condition on how to spawn a treasure, but no one did in all these years. Generally, this mod is compatible with ever other mod, just like the mod page says.

      4. Only the spawn chance.

      If you just want to get the Seitengrat, you could also use the inventory editor of the insurgent's toolkit to add it to your inventory.

    There is also a configurable option to determine whether this includes unique treasures.


    Does this mean if I set it to true I can get multiple copies of unique items? First time playing the game so not sure if I should leave it off or not.

      Like the configuration page in the wiki says: "If set to 'true', only spawn unique treasures if they haven't been opened before." If you are playing the game for the first time, I would recommend setting it to 'true'. Otherwise you might end up getting a very strong equipment more than once.

      Oh how did I miss that...I've been going through all your mods and so far nearly all of them are a must have, so many QOL and improvements!

      Huge thanks for all the amazing mods, they will definitely make my playthrough more enjoyable!

    That's a nice idea. Would it be possible to do something similar for monsters? At the moment you have to go through two loading phases for them to respawn 🤔

      Yes, but I am not planning on doing something like that currently. Maybe in the future. Until then, you can also use the Foes Respawn On Sight feature from The Insurgent's Bountiful Bundle.

    Good stuff as always! This would go great with a way to make it one-spawn only, though last time I asked that was impossible. But we have come a long way! Be more like older FF games lol.

      Thanks. The game only allows to make 256 treasures and traps non-respawnable. Creating a mod to make all treasures non-respawnable is not really difficult though.

      I understand no worries. I just kinda wanna take the RNG outta treasure, as it's the one place I don't really feel it works balance wise. Without just handing everything obviously. Make exploring worthwhile, while having some semblance of balance. Even if what the item you get is RNG, if it's still a unique chest that is worth it in the same principle.
