These look great, thanks for sharing! I was able to install with Vortex without any issues. These also didn't have any conflicts with Chainmail Armor.

These are excellent.  All of them.  I especially love Fran's, though they're all great just for eliminating that "flat & smeared" look everyone's faces had.

Just letting anyone know, to all texture mods saying you need VBF or Draklab, I've been able to install them all without issue using Vortex normally and just selecting which texture folders I want when prompted. VBF and Draklab both have been failing me randomly in modded texture application.

Do note, however, that my game crashes randomly from a couple minutes to an hour if I'm playing with Vortex OPENED during game execution. But this may be because of a number of different other mods I am running, FOV, Struggle for Freedom, Insurgent's Toolkit, my own modifications on the battledata to extend buff times, or an unknown exception that modders smarter than me might be aware of.

While I can't speak for the other mods, if you are using my FOV tool then you can just change the FOV to what you want and then close the tool.  The FOV will remain as you specify until the game is closed completely.

I just noticed that this mod results in the VBF file changing size. Though I'd assume someone as experienced as XULLuxolid would have noticed by now if this is a problem, to say nothing of a flood of complaints otherwise, but still I have to ask. Is this the sort of thing that would mess with offsets? I know a lot of mods need to change the address offsets.

The VBF has been extensively documented and all file size changes do NOT affect mods that affect 'offsets' as those typically affect active-running-memory offsets or they make changes to the files within the VBF itself. The VBF is just a 'container' (think of a ZIP file) and it contains a bunch of files within it.

In this particular instance, there are two files that actually do cause the game to crash. However, a fix has been uploaded if you search for the mod name.

I see so many bugs in POSTS and not BUGS tabs this year in the Nexus community. I wonder why that is?

People either post on the forums (which shows up here) or they aren't aware of the BUGS tab. It is technically the job of the mod author to alert people if they will only take issues via the Bugs tab or if users can just post where they are comfortable posting. So far, most authors have chosen the latter option so that people are comfortable reporting bugs and those bugs get fixed :)

One of Bashe's new face textures, specifically the c1030 folder causes a new game to crash. Deleting this folder solves the issue and you can still use the other face textures.

I can confirm this does indeed cause a crash.
I bypassed the crash by using the previous version's files for the c1030 folder since his armor covers his body anyways.

Upon further playtesting, the folder c1011 also crashes the game. (Another Bashe texture)

It may be a good idea to completely revert all the 'new' Basch textures back to v3 just to be on the safe side.
Revert to an earlier version or just delete the folders and restore the vanilla ones until Xull can resolve these crashes.

So the 1011 is the new game one. If you can open up the others in an image-editor then we can see where in the storyline they are and then double-check if they cause a crash or not. Basically have a save file without Basch in the party and then try to load Basch into the party and see if it crashes.

Basch textures are located in the following folders:
-c1011 (reported crash bug by tritonxiv)
      -c1019
-c1030 (reported crash bug by tritonxiv)
      -c1042
      -c1048

I'm personally not taking a chance with any of the others.

This should fix the crashes caused by the Basch textures here.

So there's been no word from the mod maker about all the Basch textures causing a new game start to crash with a fatal error?

To my knowledge, Xull is on an extended haitus from modding. I'm not one to bother them about it so sending them a PM via the forums may get a response.

I have v4 of all the characters EXCEPT for Penelo and Basch. I use the Penelo Pink-hair version and I used v3 for Basch instead.

Since v4 versions have been re-uploaded, it might be a good idea to grab both v4 and v3 packages and then replace the v4 Basch ones with the v3 ones instead.

I can confirm the v4 Basch textures are still buggy as of July 13 of 2018.

It's ok, I tried out the Party Enhanced Face Textures mod by Skopin and the faces in that mod are noticeably better than those in this one.
Only downside to that mod is there are no optional eye colours.

I would like to use Penelo pink hair mod but again that face just isn't as good as Skopin's Penelo face.

Ok so the only two ones that cause a crash are c1011 (Tutorial Basch) and c1030 (Basch Prisoner w/Sword).
It may seem to load up ok but as soon as you cross a zone line and/or enter a cutscene it'll crash.

Skopin is actually super awesome and has identified the issue affecting those textures and has created a fix. I'm testing it out as I type this.
Fix will be made available on Nexus and I'll link to it by posting here, but for now just delete c1011 and c1030 folders.

Update: Here's the link to the fix by Skopin.

This should fix the crashes caused by the Basch textures here.

After talking to Daedalus, I'm planning to release a pink-haired Penelo soon. I will also start working on some additional eye colors for the other party members. :D You should post the requests on my page so I see them lol.

No this is not possible. Custom models and model-editing have not (yet) been done with the tools/information available to modders at this time.

Oh my! Basch's face is too light! It does not match his body skin tone well. Could you please have a fix on it?

Why i lowered saturation of Basch face is that his facial hair was almost unnoticeable, but yeah, forgot that he still has body :p. Gonna find another way to expose his beard.

The download is well over 120 MB. Could it be separated into at least 2 or more downloads? Maybe 'Canon colors only' and 'All colors' or separated by character & color.
