It won't install itself. Need LUA Loader but Vortex refuses to use it so I need to download External File Loader. Once that's done I still can't install the mod 'cause Vortex doesn't recognize said Loader as... Said Loader...
Well. It needs lua to work. Lua loader needs EFL to work. What did you expect?
And vortex does recognize and install it just fine. You're most likely missing either deployment or privilege elevation prompt when installing/enabling it (try doing it again and look for messages under the bell icon in top right). And yeah, vortex's UI sucks balls.
It probably is, but definitely not in the way it was done for ff12. But you would probably be better off asking in ff15 modding community. While FFX and FFXII have a lot in common, you can't really say it about FFXV.
It really depends on what you'd like to mod. The documentation was made by many authors and is heavily scattered. A lot of stuff that is moddable is not documented at all (not because of gatekeeping nor anything like that, it just requires a lot time and there is not enough demand to make it reasonable). You could join the modding discord (https://discord.com/invite/UBrP6ME), there are some links there in documentation channel. If you have any specific questions (like how do I mod X, or how do I change Y), you could ask there as well, though general questions are usually frowned upon.
Yes, that's true. But. Vortex is a really good mod manager. Installing support for FF12 is one click in vortex. The plugin will display popup to download and install both. The only problem is that you need nexus account to do that (which you definitely have). Both loaders are used for many mods. Take a lot at other Xeavin's lua mods. They add a lot of QOL features and enhance gameplay a lot.
Probably because you also have to press right control for the combo to work. And I mean, right one, it won't work with with left ctrl. On some keyboard layouts it is possible for the control key to be mapped to something else (in many locales, e.g. right alt is mapped to left ctrl+left alt). You can change the combo in the script, but you're on your own with that.
Works like a charm. Compatible with Insurgent's Vision, if anyone's wondering. It's great for screenshots, dungeon-running, and just general visual feasting.

So it won't work. Great.
