Hi Mahem63! I'm so sorry, it seems NexusMods didn't notify me regarding your comment months ago. :( Expect something in the next three weeks. I'm just doing quality checks now before release. :)
It's crazy how people still play this game. I haven't played this game since December 2012. If I still had access to ALL my FFXI mods from way way way back in the days.
Anyways, incredible work on HD textures. Have fun still playing this game. I would've loved to have returned years ago, but last I remember back on neko-sentai (before the site went down), they were still charging to play the game.
Absolutely love these face model textures! Are you still working on doing more of these? Would love to see this on the other races and even as far as NPC's! Great work :D
Hi! Sorry for the 2 month late reply :'D I can confirm that I'm not dead and am currently still working on this mod for the other races! I had to take a break from this project for a while due to burnout and technical issues related to switching OS, but I'm back on my feet and at it again. I hope you look forward to the next release! :)
Would it be possible to extend this to the added face options in the private server HorizonXI? They are essentially the same things, just with 1 extra hair color per face.
Hi tirem778, I'd be happy to but the only issue is that since my texture pack for characters isn't complete, I can only extend for the textures that I've already published. If that's okay with you, I can add an extra file on my mod page here that is specifically for HorizonXI faces :)
Hi, thank you for pointing this out! Hadn't thought about using a base ROM folder. I'll see when I can get around to doing this and doing a writeup for installation :D
I second changing the download so that all the folders are in a ROM folder when you get the chance. This way if anyone is using Windower or XIPivot, they can just make a Jasmint's folder and place the ROM folder in there. Not a big deal for anyone with experience with XI modding, but for newer modders they'll just plug it in and pray it works.
Hi HyperionXL and Saemyr, I've updated all the packs to include the top ROM folder. Thank you both again for pointing this out! Currently, only the full compilation is available due to some bugs with NexusMods trying to eat my files. I will need to try upload Elvaan and Hume ones individually again tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience, and have fun! Mithra will hopefully be done soon, but no guarantees :)
edit: NexusMods has finished eating my files so they are now available. I have also included an installation guide on the main page, but in the future, I will include it as a readme file.
Thank you! These character textures are a staple for me. I love having my character look closer to the creation style, but also you did great in keeping the vanilla feel. The hair received some much needed cleanup and love here.
Looks like the "51" folder is new. The filesizes are lower than what I already had installed (Ashenbubs probably) and dated from 5 years ago, were these included by accident?
Hi! Yes, the inclusion of 51 was an accident LOLOLOL It includes the vanilla Mithra textures, so you are free to delete them. I ended up including this folder by accident because that folder happens to be where I put my modded dats in addition to ones that will be modded in the future. I will update the files again to fix this so that people don't randomly get vanilla mithra while using my mod. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for pointing it out!
Hi PegasusKoga, sorry for the late reply! There are no incompatibilities that I know of - I am actually a great fan of Ashenbubs' textures and regularly use them. ^^ To avoid incompatibilities with any texture packs, it is best to load my textures first before loading other big packs like Ashenbubs, Amelila or NextGames compilation, otherwise my ones might not display properly. The main conflicts of concern are if you use other strictly character packs since the sizes are similar, such as EmiFFXI's, in which case it is best to either use one or the other. If you want to tinker and use a mixture of faces, keep one as your primary where you rename the DAT files so the one from the alternative pack can load.. Hope this makes sense - if you have any other questions, please let me know.
You covered pretty much everything i wanted to know so i should be able to handle it from here.
I ended up also installing the mods from this guide on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD4aCHdYcSk and they make for a perfect fit with your face textures. The game does look gorgeous now and so does my character, thanks to you.
Awesome B) NextGames' compilation pack is also so good! My potato laptop is too weak for that one lol, so it's epic to know that my character textures match well with it. :D
Thank you for the endorsement! It really means a lot. ^^ Happy gaming!
I usually don't ever post comments on mods, but I just gotta say... These are hands down THE BEST Texture Packs that have ever came up for this game, in my opinion. They're an absolute delight to use and just genuinely make FFXI feel so much more enjoyable and like a brand new game for me; thank you so much for your hard work on these, seriously!
Now I gotta ask... Are there any plans for any additional alternatives to existing models (in example, Male Hume Type A, Face 2 with blue eyes instead of brown like seen in Type B)?
If so... Any donation links to buy you a coffee as a big thank you for all your continued hard work?
Hi StudGrandpa, thank you so much!! You've just made my day haha, I'm glad my textures bring a refreshing experience for you! Nice name btw ;D
I didn't originally have any plans to create additional alternatives outside the vanilla and character creation model combos, but I am happy to create custom sets in a separate mod page or just chuck them on Google Drive since it'll only take a few minutes at most to push out some custom colours. If you have any requests, please post them on the FFXIAH thread or send me a PM here or there. ^^
I have a Ko-fi link here: https://ko-fi.com/jasmint but please don't feel obligated to give anything. Your appreciation is really enough! :) I will also post it on the main page now that I have time as well. Thank you for your consideration!
Hahaha, shoot; right back at'cha with the reply! Thank you so much, it's a good icebreaker, admittedly. >;')))
Awesome! I would've commented on the FFXIAH thread earlier with the request instead of here... But, sadly my Subscription ran out for Retail and I couldn't authenticate my character on the site in time, haha (play mostly on Private Servers these days). Anywho, I'll definitely send you a PM here soon!
Right on, glad I could contribute a little bit! From all your hard work, you at least deserve a cup of coffee, so don't worry about it. <3

Anywho, for those that don't know, drag and drop the numbered folders into the "ROM" folder.

Pea-brain Jasmint strikes again, aw man :')
With this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy11/mods/1?tab=description for example?
