    Hello, i've placed the NextHD and it's contents on XiPivot folder and now I cannot launch the game... PlayOnline launchs fine, but not the game itself. 
    What do I have to do to make the game work again? I've already deleted the entire xIpivot folder from windower and still can't launch the game...

      This issue isn't caused by putting the NextHD pack into the XIPIvot folder, those are just textures.  This is normally caused by an issue between your system and either reshade or dgvoodoo.  For DgVoodoo, go into the app and select other display adapter options listed.  Some systems require a specific onboard card to be selected for it to load that isn't your main card.  It will still use the main cards resources.  For Reshade, rerun the reshade installer that you ran earlier and point it toward the Pol directory again, now selecting uninstall.  Once uninstalled try to launch the game, if it now works then it's an incompatibility between your system and reshade, this is most commonly occurring on systems with 3070 cards right now.  You will need to inquire with reshade dev's to resolve it and not use reshade until then.  Lastly, your doing this on a retail server and launching the game through windower yes?  Lots of people have been trying to use these instructions with private servers or other apps such as ashita lately and doing so with these instructions can cause mixed results.

      Hi,

      I'm having the POL viewer show up as black, can't even get to the game part... Currently playing this as a virtual machine on my mac. I've tried to use an older reshade (I have a newer M4 mac) as per your suggestion.... not sure what else I can do?

      Edit: Nevermind I didn't follow the instructions completely, I missed the part to copy the ReshadePreset.ini file into the POL folder. It seems to load 100% now :D

      Have you tried uninstalling reshade all together and seeing if it allows the game to load?

    What is the easiest way to unistall the all in one HD texture pack? While it is beautiful, I find that after installing it is taking up too much of my SSD causing the game to run slower than before. I may have to reinstall when I get a bigger SSD but for now I would like to uninstall it without having to uninstall the whole game.

      Easiest way will be to reinstall due to the amount of changes we made.  However, 99% of the space is taken up by the texture pack itself so if you simply delete the NextLore or NextHD pack directory under xipivot you will retain all the other benefits without the loss of space.  Short of that yes you should reinstall to remove all the changes made.

    Hi I currently play on Horizon Private Server and was wondering how i can install these onto the private server. Please Assist me :) thankyou
     Also whats the Dats so i dont have the xi view on. I like the original UI

      These changes won't work on many private servers and will depend entirely on the private server you are on.  This pack is made for retail and what changes would need made to make some or any of it work would be entirely dependent on each private server.

      Okay so some of these do work on Horizon. I have a question does this include weapons and character models?

      Yes this changes 99%+ of the textures in the game.  Armor, weapons, characters, maps, terrain, everything.

    Is this up to date? I'm trying to find an up to date download and guide for HD packs but there's basically nothing out there anymore that's not from 2021/22. :(

      Note, on some newer computers you may need to make two changes.  1. DGVoodoo Adapter options, change to all adapters if you are getting a black screen or crash on load and 2. The new version of reshade doesn't work on some newer systems, try an older version from their forums if this happens such as version 4.9.1.

    Hello, I'm interested in just using the status icons and maps from this pack, do you know which DATs are for them?

      I don't have noted which dat's change what as there is just too many.  The maps are hundreds of DAT's so that's going to be hard to pull out and the status icons I think can be found in XIVIew so you may have luck getting that one from here.  https://github.com/KenshiDRK/XiView

    Does this include all the zones done  by Ameillia up to date?

      Many of them yes, some of Ameillia's zones had issues (such as bastok mines) so those issues are fixed and in other area's I've used some zone textures such as Radial Arcana's, but yes a large portion of Ameillia's zone textures are present.

    I installed shaders using the HD Pack All In One approach but there are shaders not automatically checked on mine during the shader setup. Any chance I could get the list of needed shaders to be checked ???  It only has -Standard effects- and Ceejay SweetFX checked !!!  I see your install has AstrayFX and others ???    I gather I'm not going to get all the shaders as it looks like in the yTube making ffxi beautiful in 2022 vid shows more shaders automatically being checked but I cant see the others that were checked using the vid ><

      The ones selected automatically are correct.  AstrayFX was removed due to it taking up too many resources.
