I have put together two texture packs that include the works of Amelila and RadialArcana. These packs bring new life to the world of Vana'diel by the use of HD Textures. One pack is a lore friendly version that more closely resembles the vanilla's game's textures and the other a true HD Pack that focuses on high quality textures replacements.

What is this?
Here we have two texture packs that include the works of Amelila and RadialArcana. These packs bring new life to the world of Vana'diel by the use of HD Textures. One pack is a lore friendly version that more closely resembles the vanilla's game's textures and has a focus on upscaled textures and the other a true HD Pack that focuses on high quality textures replacements.
Which textures are changed?
Over 100 of the games zones
Nearly all Monsters
Furniture, Trust, Mounts, Avatars, Wyverns, Puppets
Dozens of end game weapons and armors
Hundreds of other misc items such as chest, flags, ships, etc.
What are the differences between the packs?
NextLore - This is a pack that focuses on Upscales of the games Vanilla textures. It primarily features Amelila's upscale packs in addition to the the works of Radial Arcana. The games maps are NOT marked up as to allow you to explore and maps such as Escha - Ru'Aun continue to be drained of their color as in the vanilla game.
NextHD - This is a pack that focuses on High Quality Texture Replacements. It primarily features Amelila's HQ pack as well as the works of Radial Arcana. Maps ARE marked up for easy navigation and Escha - Ru'Aun has been made to be colorful and vibrant.
How do I use them?
These packs can simply be unzipped and placed into your XIPivot folder and activated in game with the "//xipivot a NextHD" or "//xipivot a NextLore" commands.
If you aren't setup with XIPivot yet or want a detailed walkthrough of how to make FFXI Beautiful in 2022 I suggest you follow the below video that includes download links for All-In One Packs that I've created that have everything needed for a complete update. This includes 4GB Patch, DGVoodoo and Reshade installs, Reshade Presets, XIPivot, XIView, Windower 4 as well as the texture packs offered here.
Who are Amelila and RadialArcana?
Amelila was one of the first texture modders for Final Fantasy XI and has released a few Upscale and HD Texture packs on YouTube. Their packs replace textures in over 100 of the games zones. You can find their channel here: Amelila's Youtube Channel
RadialArcana is a texture modder from the FFXIAH.com forums who has made hundreds of texture mods that he has made over the years. His work includes some zones that Amelila did not cover as well as the majority of monsters you will encounter in the game as well as many end game armor and weapons. He also did many misc textures including Avatars, Puppets, Wyverns, Furniture, etc.
All appreciation should go to these two mod authors for the hard work they have put into making the game look as good as it does!
Complimentary Mods:
Even though this pack replaces many of the textures in the game it does not replace them all. For a more complete replacement expereince you can also load either of Ashenbubs packs after the next games pack and you will get the benefit of Ashenbubs textures in any location that doesn't already have a redone texture.
