I know the modding scene for FIFA is pretty small, but I'm so happy to see people giving my mod a go. If anyone else has experience with the editor tools and would like other features adding / eventually porting to EAFC 24, feel free to comment below with advice / recommendations.
This mod is all about making career mode a little more fun, if a touch unbalanced; things like match ratings during the match are something I'd love to edit, but it's far too complex for me at the moment. I welcome any guidance with the more difficult elements in the future.
In Player Career Mode (PCM), there's an option to Retire. Once selected, this will prompt the game to transition to Manager Career Mode. Would this Mod extend to that game mode too?
Lastly, can you create a mod to bypass the Max Level 40 restrictions in Player Career Mode? Most discussion in Steam is related to this restriction, which only gives the player a rating of 93-94sh tops. If the max level restriction was removed, we can allocate more skill points on the remaining skill tree.
Yes, all of these tweaks will extend to a player career turned manager as it uses the same systems.
Regarding your second point, it's not something I considered but I will definitely have a look tomorrow!
Edit: Didn't want to leave it as I'd forget about it. I've uploaded a test in the optional files for you or anyone else to try to see if players can now go above level 40. Let me know if it works for you! - This is a real long shot and I don't believe it's going to work, but always worth a try.
Already tested the file and it works! (Proof 1, Proof 2)
I also tested not using the mod on the same save file and the accumulated skill points persist, but you will not gain any more levels as it will revert to the locked Max Level 40.
Just a minor mod improvement suggestion though; Level 50 would only net you 40 Skill points. Guess that's the beta part :).
I calculated the missing points and the level to achieve the "99 average", you'll need to be; Level 84 - as the max level (the missing 173 skill points from Level 40 to populate all the remaining skills in the tree -including GK. I'm playing as an outfield player on my current playthrough) Level 66 - without the GK skills (104 skill points)
Amazing, thanks so much for the feedback and the stats. A new version is up that bumps the cap to 70 (enough to be amazing but without every GK skill). Let's hope it works!
I might be a year late, but amazing mod! 😃 As an extremely casual football fan this mod has allowed me to hold off getting the newer games so I could really enjoy '23 first.
For those who still want to customize the mod, I created a Google Doc with a list of every single edited line I could find in the Editor Tool from the fifaproject file. This made customizing the mod much easier for me, since I knew exactly which lines I should be messing with.

I have inly a small issue, It would be betterto have the option of slowed players growth, in half season my players got +5 to +8 growth, it breaks the gameplay of growing youth players, and buying young players. A nerfed version, even little bit nerfed than in vanilla would be just fine. Thank you ❤️
Hi, this is absolutely a 'cheaty' mod by design for those who got bored of long waits for player growth, which does result in players progressing very quickly unfortunately. Whilst I don't have the toolkit installed anymore, I have uploaded the FIFAPROJECT file to the misc. download section. If you would like to try and use the FIFA Editor Tool, you can load up my file and tweak the values to your liking.
Sorry, I finalised the mod once EA stopped releasing updates, but I may come back to EAFC 24 if I ever get into the football mood again!
There should be a button in the FIFA Editor Tool to only highlight files that I've edited; use that to see where I've made my changes. Many of the changes, if not all of them, are made through trial and error by launching the game with the Mod Manager (make sure you install your version of the mod each time) and seeing what's different.
EA coding can be easy to read in some cases and a complete mystery for me in others; the best thing I can recommend is watching a few editor tool tutorials and using that as a base to understand the modding capabilities better.
I don't mind changing things myself but I don't understand what you changed for the progression of player growth. I do see all your modded files but i don't know what to change.
Hello, I appreciate this mod very much, I am trying to modify it, as I prefer to have the option to have the manager sacked.
However, can you please tell me which are files you are modifying for the youth academy - limit of the academy size (how many players I can have) as well as how to modify the chances to get a good player (and bad as well) and lastly how to modify the amount of players that the scout is able to find?

Problem is I started with FC 24 and I love it a lot. My fav team is Salford and their kit is beautiful in 24. So I don't want to buy 23 just for this mod even though it sure as hell worth it. So, please make the same thing for FC 24.
we need this mod in FC 24 pls (or at least tell us the file to modifiers in FC 24 to make youth players like in this mod pls ) EDIT: using his project I actually created a mod like this but the total of the youth players is still low even with: "AVERAGE_PEAK_OVERALL = 75" instead of "69" and keeps appearing players with a total of 48-54 with 84-90 potential, is this normal?
