I keep trying to download this one to help with leveling up my fishing skill but my browser keeps telling me that these files have a virus/malware in them even though the Nexus Virus scan says it's safe. This applies to all of the files, whether it's 2x or 10x. Which do I believe, cause I really wanna download this one.
What browser? Nexus runs the file through a scanner like you mentioned, and then I run things through VirusTotal or HybridAnalysis when I want to check personally. That said, the only thing in this mod are JSON (text) files. So it's very strange for it to get flagged. Usually the code injection (Aurie) mods do because of how they work.
For what it's worth I downloaded the 10x mod from Nexus. The SHA256 hash (think of it as a "fingerprint" for the file) is: 4CDAB98449267D365A53B195639727BAB1207827D2E3FD0FAFD61FEB7B0B4CD8
I ran it through VirusTotal and the results are here: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/4cdab98449267d365a53b195639727bab1207827d2e3fd0fafd61feb7b0b4cd8?nocache=1
If you can download the file I'd recommend scanning it yourself, and making sure the hash matches. If it matches then good. If not, something is messing with it between Nexus serving the file and you downloading it.
Even though the file says the bite time should be one, they are taking more than that. I do have this combined with some other mods like Relaxed Fishing but idk if that would affect the bite time.
I love this! You should add some stamina adjustments as well! I made a mod that did that, but this is so well done you can just combine the two so it's more simple for everyone ♡
I'm happy to add the adjustments to my mod! I'll divide them by the multiplier. So the 2x version will be 1/2 stamina costs, 3x as 1/3, etc. Minimum stamina cost will be 1.
