Hey, is there a way to change the 10,000 value? I would love to have the fleet slowed down just by one or two jumps, as the exits are so ridiculously placed I often miss it by one jump.
1) Download the mod. 2) Extract Stop Pursuit_1.0.ftl from the Stop Pursuit-26-1-0-0-1574610892.zip file as normal. 3) Now, using something like 7.zip (https://www.7-zip.org/), extract the files from Stop Pursuit_1.0.ftl to a folder. (.ftl files are just .zip files with a re-named extension) 4) Now navigate to the data subfolder in the folder you just extracted to. Open the events.xml.append file with an XML file capable editor. I recommend Notepad++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/). 5) Change both -10000 values to whatever you like. 6) Save the file. 7) Navigate to the folder you extracted the data and mod-appendix folders to. 8) Using 7-zip or whatever, zip them up (as standard zip files, not 7z or rar or whatever else) with a new filename and change the .zip extension to .ftl extension. 9) Use Slipstream Mod Manager (https://sourceforge.net/projects/slipstreammodmanager/) to enable it in-game. (Read the readme file instructions for Slipstream Mod Manager as to how to add the mods.)
Further examination appears to show that the fleet is slowed once at the beginning of the game by 100 000 jumps by this mod. This appears to carry over to subsequent sectors. So as it is now, if you edit it, it may only slow them once by whatever number you set in the first sector only. I will investigate.
It may be that what you would want is something that runs at the beginning of EVERY sector start and slows them by a specified amount. This can be done, but requires adding 11 more modified files.
I can create a new mod that does that quite easily. I will create mod files that delay by 1 to 5 jumps and you can simply install any one of them you like.
Shouldn't take more than a day or two to make and post.
I believe from looking at the mod's files that this mod is out of date for the latest version (v1.6.13b). Especially for non-English support, as it looks like the mod will break it. Plus, there looks like an additional mod of the code to grant bonus scrap at sector start.
I will figure out how this works and try and post a revised mod, either through this author or myself, if necessary.

That's it.
