10 fps lost on a 1080ti at 1440p. Big oof. I toggle it on and see it drop/gain exactly 10.
It definitely did not JUST reshade the flowers but made the whole game a mad max cinematic feeling instead of the vibrant new growth expected. Ofc I can't be sure it's all working right, because the newest reshade is throwing a couple of errors with this profile, but those couple seem to be in unused effects.
Wow, you won the award for most arrogant comment on nexus in 2020.
Yes, modding a game brings FPS drop to a certain degree depending on the mod and your system. But to be honest, 10 FPS drop for a rehade preset, wich are known to be very FPS friendly in general is some heavy shit. And a 10 FPS drop can make a game less enjoyable. I mean, that must be THE most awesome looking reshade preset ever to justify such a drop.
I am still playing skyrim (yes, still in 2020) wich is not very performance friendly out of the box because of shitty programming, and i have modded it to hell with about 600 mods, script heavy s#*!, mostly 4k textures and a very heavy ENB (wich has much more impact than a reshade preset). And still i got mostly stable 60 FPS with my GTX 1080Ti. So having a GTX 1080ti as well, trying many different reshades and NEVER had more than 2 FPS less, i can really understand NOOOO1 complaining about the heavy fps drop on this game here having such a massive drop while using only one single reshade mod.
You dont have to share his opinion and it is ok if you like gaming with a crappy framerate. But you dont have to be such an arrogant douchebag either. Merry christmas.
Followed every step in the "How to" but when I press "Home" I don't get Pathos in the drop-down list as an option. Wether this is because of an update to the game, or the reshader itself, i'm not sure, but this mod seems abandoned.
Unfortunately this did not work for me. I did everything the howto was saying and I can activate it with pos1, but everything is still pink. What can I do? Using Far Cry New Dawn 1.0.7 and Reshade 5.3.0. Performance mode is activated.
Some warnings are in the log: 1rst one: Skipping Device because it use the Microsoft Basic Render Driver
and many like this: D:\Games\Far Cry New Dawn\bin\reshade-shaders\Shaders\RSRetroArch\scanlines-abs.fx(73,1): warning X4576: 'PS_ScanlinesAbs': input parameter 'angle' semantic does not match vertex shader one
but 80% is Succhessfully compiled and I can manually activate and deactivate some effects and they basically work (tried some of the crt-mods and artistic mods) so ReShade works, but the pink part not.
