Would love to see the mod removing any crate icons from the map. Crates are scattered everywhere, mostly containing crappy stuff you will never use, and you will probably ignore the blue markings/not pay attention to lots of stuff because you can simply look at the map. Making them harder to find would give even useless stuff some value.
I'm pretty sure this is already a feature in the game if you play on Guerilla difficulty (like infamous from fc5 which you can't change mid-playthrough) I don't have any mods and I don't see the enemy areas anymore, not as sure about the dots though. Still useful for lower difficulties :)
