Looks nice. Your settings for brightness, contrast and gamma look better than the default ones except I lowered the brightness some. It makes the clouds and most everything else look right compared to the default of those three settings after tweaking the brightness. I tend to like bright vivid colors so the Far Cry 3 look is fine with me.

Eventually some will complain this reshade is has too much of one color or another or that is doesn't look natural. But again the vivid look is something I prefer and it looks natural enough for me. If they can't find a reshade they like then they'll have to deal with the plain look of the original.

Well the magical thing about reshade is you can edit values so if you love 98% of this reshade but want to tweak say... The reds then you can go in and tweak the reds.  Win win.

How can we move on when every game since has basically been identical if you ignore the story?  Even the one set near the Himalayan mountains or in them basically looks like fc3 and plays like it outside of the flying and elephant riding... Or turning them into suicide elephant's that charge into bases and murder as many as possible until they eventually die.  Thank you noble elephant, your sacrifice will be remembered forever... Now how can we harness those Yetis I keep hearing about because we ran out of elephant's 3 weeks ago and we are only 50% of the way to taking out Min.  Haha.

Good choice.. the piss (lol) filter never made sense to me since this game is supposed to take place on basically fictional Cuba and Cuba is a tropical Island.

Did they finish the game and load up the final build then suddenly notice it looked exactly like Cuba so they yellowed it up a bit and pretended nobody would notice?  It's absurd.

They were sitting there so worried they would offend the Cuban people... People who would absolutely love to play a game about a tropical Island run by a evil dictator that gets overthrown and the people can make a new government and live in peace.  Nope nope offended!

What is the dxgi.dll file for? Like what does it do?

Makes Reshade runs better with Far Cry 6 as the official reshade DXGI.dll file will chop your framerate in half.

Whenever I use Reshade with Far Cry 6 or even have it in my directory it cuts my Framerate in half. People were having this issue from launch and I can't find a way around it. Is there a certain version of Reshade for Far Cry 6 you recommend mate?

You can try the version from this Nexus post:

It's the Unofficial version of 4.9.2. and some posters say it works for CRubino's reshade. If you're using the Official version I'm not sure how the Unofficial works better but see if it helps. It really fixed the low fps I was getting in CRubino's reshade but it may not work for other reshades.

Edit: Meant to mention today's game update (on Dec 15) improves fps in some situations according to the patch notes so it may help.

It seems like in the original game the green colors don't vary enough in the trees in  jungles and forests in when it's daytime and sunny. Did the mod try to vary the shades of green in the trees? Or can a reshade vary the greens or other colors in forests by type of tree or other way in an open world game?

Its more to do with the lighting, the yellow filter in the original game just made all the trees seem to have the same hue.
